  1. It was a sick injury, and it happened to a cracking player. He plays with passion, determination and high energy. He will do anything for his teams cause, and that was reflected by the way he got injured, blocking a fierce shot by riise. I would have put him in my world cup squad, he can play in the centre of midfield, in the holding role, and of course up front. Great player, i wish him all the best.
  2. hahaha did you just randomly choose those numbers then reg?
  3. didnt you say in another thread that liverpool were the "easybeats"? gee, make your mind up reg.
  4. reg, you come out with a load of rubbish so im not even going to bother responding to your anti-liverpool posts. i agree with the hole chelsea issue, when the russion billionare runs out of money, you will probably lose half of your fans at every game. going back to the liverpool-champions-of-europe issue, even though we did scrape through against chelsea, at the end of the day, we kept 2 clean sheets and therefore deserved to beat them. we played out of our skins last season in europe, and deserve some gratitude. wht more can liverpool do before they are regarded as decent champions? beat chelsea 5-0? beat benfica 9-0 in both legs? i think you will find that when it comes to the knockout stages in the premier club competition in europe, it does tend to get a bit scrappy. as i said before, just give us a break!
  5. at the end of the day, if we were the worst champions ever, we would have scraped through against teams that werent as good as the likes of juve, chelsea, milan and so on. we didnt have it easy in last years competition, but we caused a big upset by winning it, and that in itself proves that we were worthy winners, and there hve been clubs much worse winning it. Okay i get your millwall point, but i never said winning the champions league made us the best team, and it is really the premiership that matters, but to call us the worst champions ever isnt really a fair or accurate summary.
  6. the classic thread page must only have reg comments in, and it must be a long, long list!
  7. give us a break! worst champions ever! try telling juventus, bayer levurkusen, chelsea or monaco that. give me any other team capable of coming from 3 down against a team of milans calibre, and then i will listen to your point. and remember we have just came out of a group with the english champions and real betis in and finished top, the sixth is coming back in gay paris!
  8. yes... im surre that you are right there reg...
  9. respect required? have i disrespected Everton as a football team? no. in fact, on this particular thread i seem to be one of the only people giving Everton a chance against chelsea. im on this forum to see what other teams fans views are, but believe me, i do spend most of my time on the liverpool forum. i hope its not a crime to visit other clubs forums now.
  10. whilst on subject of great goals, i thought id share this from the american league, brilliant commentary! http://tinyurl.com/a6g6j
  11. ok. its an fa cup thread, why not ask?
  12. is there really any need to call me bitter? have i just insulted you or something? all i did was state that Everton have a chance, and in a thread about the fa cup, i asked who liverpool are playing in the next round, so you respond with calling liverpool fans bitter. you are not all bitter, but i can see that you certainly are.
  13. ouch. well the FA cup is known for big upsets, you just never know. nuneaton 0-0 borough, burton 0-0 man utd, fulham 1-2 leyton orient, why not an Everton victory. probably isnt the greatest place to ask but does anyone know who liverpool (or the "RS" as they are so affectionately known as on this forum!) have drawn.
