Playing out wide would have certainly damaged his stats. He needs a consistent run of games in his correct position and needs to get used to the other players movements around him. He really needs to step up now, justify his price tag and prove his critics wrong.

At least we are still unbeaten. Probably the only positive to take from today.

Interesting that Sky aren't pushing this story. He's clearly got hangover style pictures of Sky presenters/executives (Jim White) in compromising situations.
