  1. Damn equaliser was bad enough, but it elicited a shout of anger from me that woke my sleeping baby made it even worse. Horrible result today. Defense on set pieces needs to improve and damn Stones needs to pay more attention to marking his man in the box than to the ball. Horrible misplay.
  2. I've played both ways obviously. If I am going to last much more than 2 minutes indoors i need to be in better playing shape than when I play outdoors. They are almost completely different games in the way they are played, so it is a bit hard to compare fitness levels. I just know that I could get off the couch and go play 90 minutes (at a rec level). I would hurt like hell the next couple days, but I could do it. I couldn't pull 3 two-minute shifts indoors without passing out if I weren't physically ready. That's just from my experiences though. I do play an outdoor league once a year in the Fall. The Indoor league just happens to fit my work schedule better.
  3. I was a fullback in High School for 4 years, and played one year in college as well. Coach was a prick and the school did pretty much nothing to support the team, so I quit and focused on my studies. I play indoor twice a week now. I find it a lot more quick and exciting. I have to stay in a little better condition as well due to the fast pace.
  4. Thanks everyone, and I will make it a point to refer to the game as football from now on. It's just a habit to call it what it has been called to me for so many years. Some of my in-laws live in Algiers, so I make it down there quite a bit too.
  5. I have been a fan of soccer for many years. I live in Houston, Texas. I played soccer through high school and even a year in college. I have mainly followed international soccer, but have recently found a little bit of interest in the local MLS club, Dynamo. It isn't the highest level of play, but it is better than not watching a match in person. I have recently decided to start following a team in the EPL, and after just watching EPL games for the last couple of years, I have come to Everton. I love Tim Howard, being American, and I will be able to watch almost every match thanks to NBC. I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge. I will mostly be a reader, and am looking to learn more about English Football and Everton. -Just Another Fan of the Beautiful Game
