  1. i beleive it will be Yakubu personally. He will give us natural goalscoring ability and strength something we always looked for in Beattie. I also think Baines will add strength to our weak left side.
  2. YES!!! he is a fantastic footballer, id welcome him back the same way id welcome Stevie G to the club. but seriously, why start this thread? Why start this thread? Well i started it cos im an evertonian on a open thread you f@ckpig.
  3. Would You Welcome BAck Rooney? Wayne Rooney is a evertonian after all he has been a blue all his life and has everton in his blood. When he left everton it was a decison he made and a decision he had to make at such a young age. He was barely an adult and had the offer to become part of the biggest football team in the world and become an instant millionaire and celebrity. From what we have read and what we know about rooney is that he came from a rough part of our city were life is hard (from my own experience of living in a rough part of the city i know what life can be like) he had the best offer from the biggest team in the world. What team in the world never mind EVERTON could offer him what Manure offered him (Money, Trophies, Celebrity Status and Exposure). At the age of 16 he was riding his BMX at the age of 18 he's being offered £60,000 a week to play for the best biggest football team in the world. Can you atleast grasp an understanding of why this young man's judgement was not 100% and the offer on the table could majorly have clouded it. I myself have forgive him and dont hold a grudge i hope he becomes one of the best playersof in the world. I have played with rooney when i was younger and i hope he becomes a great (but play shit against US) and maybe one day in the future return back to everton and play for us and join or Rise to the top. I think with the progress were making in the league under David Moyes, the decison will soon come out that we are moving to kirkby to our new stadium and the new training ground and academy we our definately a team on the up. I think were the best team in England outside the top four and in a few years time we will break down the top four and hopefully challenge for the league. Don't forget he is and always be a born evertonian (and remember the saying evertonians are born not manufactured) and i believe one day in the future Wayne Rooney will play for Everton again, and i for one will welcome him back with open arms. Watch the video and just remember the way you felt back in the day when we had rooney in our team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_43dqaxUd7w Your Thoughts????????????????????????

  6. Premiership:- 5th FA CUP:- Quarter Finals Carling Cup:- Winners UEFA Cup:- Semi Finals Bottom two seem a little optimistic but i have a good feeling about us this season. We deserve a little bit of success and a chance to all hit concert square on cup final day and spare them pubs of them kopites (mostly norweigian, irish and asian) and show them how the peoples club celebrate.
  7. This lad looks good from what i have seen of him. He scored today for the reserves against Stirling Albion amd against N.Ireland. Hope this kid breaks into our team as he got a lot of pace and maybe carry on the habbit of everton academy doing good. (i know he spent time at Arsenal but he finnaly sen the light and joined the best up coming team the premiership has to offer outside the top 4). What you think?
  8. STEVEN PIENAAR today set his sights on winning an extended stay on Merseyside after Everton helped fulfil a long-standing ambition. The South African international officially became a member of Everton’s first team squad yesterday after his work permit application was approved and wasted little time in drawing attention to his talents. Having seen his loan move from Borussia Dortmund rubber- stamped in the morning, Pienaar got on the scoresheet as Everton beat Ventura County Fusion 4-0 in a behind- closed-doors friendly in at Home Depot Center.Though it was only a glorified training session, Pienaar showed enough to suggest he will add something to Everton’s squad next season and the former Ajax flyer hopes to convince Moyes in the next 12 months to make the arrangement permanent. “I’m looking forward to it because the Premier League is a much bigger competition than in Germany or Holland,” said Pienaar. “I will have to give my best for the team and fight for my place. “At this moment, that is my goal. I want to get into the starting eleven. “Coming into a club that had such a good time last season is going to be very difficult for me in terms of getting a starting place. “But every player must fight to get into the team and I am certainly up for the challenge. “Then, hopefully, if I can do well there is a chance for the transfer to be made permanent. “That would be perfect if that happens but first I must fight and show that I am capable of playing in the Premier League. “I had a couple of other options. Manchester City were keen, even before I went to Dortmund, but I thought personally that it was bit too soon to move over here. “I’d had a difficult year with a lot of injuries. Now I feel I am ready.” What the elfin Pienaar lacks in stature, he more than makes up for in determination and ability and has built up an excellent reputation – he was runner-up to Arjen Robben in the 2003 Dutch Young Player of the Year award – thanks to the consistency of his displays. Last season, however, was difficult for him in Die Bundesliga as Dortmund struggled and he believes a change of scenery will help him recapture his sparkle. And now he wants to repay the faith Moyes has bestowed in him. “Spending a season in Germany was good preparation, as the league was tougher than it had been in Holland,” said Pienaar. “I got regular football from the start and played the first eight games for Dortmund. Then things were difficult. “But this is a fresh start for me. You don’t just want to come here to be a number. “I’ll be fighting for my place and giving my best for the team and for the supporters. They are the people who really matter. “They pay their money for tickets and they want to enjoy it.” Leon Osman, Joleon Lescott and James Beattie were the other men on the scoresheet as Everton – who are in the hunt to sign Wigan Athletic’s Leighton Baines – barely had to get out of second gear to win in a canter. Osman, in particular, caught the eye.

  12. swerve that i would rather have brett angel back and playing up front in a pair of pink high heels.
  13. although i wasnt at the game on sunday i listened to iton the radio, dasilva came on for thel ast ten or so minutes. I know we cant judge him on ten mins alone but did he show any class or any promise of being a good signing.
  14. i think Ashley Young would more suit playing left back and being turned into an Ashely Cole type left back. He has all the credentials of Cole and could one day be as good.
  15. I believe that if we are to make that next step to top 6 challengers every season we need to invest in some quality wingers. If you look at the top 3 teams in the premiership (Chelski, The Arse and The Mancs) they all really heavily on there wingers. The likes of Ronaldo, Giggs, Robben, Ljunberg are influential players for these teams each season. Alright, we haven;t got the sources or reputation to attract these type of world class players but we can get better than the crop we got now. Andy Van Der Meyde Simon Davies Leon Osman James McFadden (when selected to play out wide) Mikeal Arteta (when selected to play out wide) AVD is a total waste of ability and is a dirty Alcoholic who probably picks up around 30k a week. Simon Davies is possibily the worst player at the club. Leon is a good little winger and can be effective when he is on form, but he isn't the type of winger that will acheive double figures in assists a season. Mikael Arteta is more effective in the middle were he can be invloved with everything and can bring more players into the game. He has the crossing ability for a winger but what we need is an out-out winger. Imagine the team we would have if we had kanchelskis and limpar now when they were in there prime. Personally i believe that we should take a look around at a couple of wingers for the January transfer window. SWP on loan would be ideal for us or even Harry Kewell at the shite. Imagine this as a lne up. 1. Tim Howard 2. Tony Hibbert 3. Nuno Valente 4. Joseph Yobo 5. Joleon Lescot 6. Mikael Arteta 7. Shaun Wright Philips 8. Phil Neville 9. Andy Jonson 10.Tim Cahill 11. Harry Kewell
