  1. Your right they were different times and we may not have known it then but we would all rather be back there now instead of where we are now, but shit happens Sev and it’s how you deal with it that matters, and not just accepting it and letting it worse, and that’s what has been happening in my eyes particularly over the last 3 seasons.
  2. Mine is 6 reduced to 4 they aren’t going to treat us any differently than they did Forest. If Forest hadn’t broken PSR I think it would have been a straight 6 points, in line with our last penalty after the appeal. Unfortunately Rob you’re trying too put to much reasoning on sensibility into your statement, but they seem to have made their decision’s before they hear the case.
  3. Martinez out played teams like the likes of Arsenal, at Goodison we gave them a lesson in there own game beating them 4-0 I believe, they had never been so out played and humiliated like that for years, and there were many others that got the same treatment, but to say it was all Moyes is totally wrong, Martinez allowed the players in midfield and upfront to play were Moyes didn’t under him they were defenders before attackers, he would bring in some decent strikers, but they never shone under him because he never played too their strengths Martinez change that he played players too their strengths. The proof of that was Moyes teams lacked goals not the case with Martinez his teams revelled in goals. But I agree Martinez lost the balance at the end between attack and defence, which cost him his job which was a shame imo but holy justified, when you only win 1 in your last 10 you are gone, just can’t get my head around how Dyche’s not gone with only 1 win in 14 or none in 13, and playing absolutely shocking football as well, that just goes to prove that now the club lack any leadership from above.
  4. We finished 12th in his last season and he got sacked due to just 1 win in his last 10 games, which is fair enough that’s acceptable most managers should expect to get the sack with that run of results, as Dyche should have with no wins in 13. You’re right he did allow the defence to become unreliable and couldn’t seem to correct it, for me we still played good football going forward and still weighed in with plenty of goals, but if we scored 2 he didn’t shut the game down and we would concede 3. I always felt that he needed to get himself a really good defensive coach to sort the defensive frailties out.
  5. Maybe not in our lifetime, but what’s more important having a new stadium or a solvent club. Now we face the possibility of going into voluntary liquidation and if not accepted by the majority of creditors could turn into bankruptcy and the end of the club. Or the stadium being taken over by a company who then lets it to us, and takes all the profits from other ventures in the Stadium. Moshiri has gambled with our club ever since he took control, now I know more than most that in business most big decisions are in essence a gamble, but they are educated gambles, and in my eyes when you are already 450 million in debt you don’t take on another 800 million of debt and call it an educated gamble, without even having the finances in place to fund the debt. Newty said he felt the money was in position from Usmanov which it possibly was, but Usmanov was sanctioned before we had completed filling the dock with sand, the sensible thing would have to put a hold on the build when the dock was fully prepared until we were in a more stable position financially.
  6. Martinez because we played some of the best possession football I’ve seen as an Everton supporter, and Ancelotti he showed us again how to play football when others before him and after him couldn’t. Besides Dyche who have you been happy with and why?
  7. Look at Woods when he played for Dyche at Burnley he hardly scored because of the long ball game there goals tally was very poor, now look at the same player now playing in a Forest team that are playing passing football and he’s smashing it with his goals, but all Dyche could do was play him hoofing the long ball up to him. And we are witnessing the same with DCL and Beto, that’s not how they played their best under other managers, even DCL said less than a week ago that we needed to have more belief instead of playing the long ball all the time, and what happened was the complete opposite. God give me strength Dyche’s destroying everything I love about Everton and the way football should be tried to be played.
  8. I think I need to lower my expectations and belief’s to fit in with the shite we are being served, but I won’t because they day that I think or consider hoofing the ball up the pitch is how football in PL should be played is the day I stop being a supporter.
  9. We may have limited quality, but we have a manager who’s making what limited quality have pretty much none existent, unless of course if you think hoofing the ball up the pitch is quality. Try telling Coleman, Branthwaite, DCL, Pickford, Beto, ect ect that their not playing for the badge and the fans, I think every player would tell you to get fucked.
  10. Fair play to you Rob I would never have guessed you were dyslexic mate, for me you are doing a marvellously good job at getting past your disability
  11. I think you’re wrong mate the players would give a shit about the fans and the club even if they didn’t give a shit about Dyche, many many players over the years have stated how they loved the club mainly because of the fans.
  12. Let’s do the time warp again
  13. You don’t think or haven’t considered that he’s come out with shit like that, because clueless and incompetent of understanding or playing football which incorporates trying to keep the ball on the ground and pass it. Just a thought Newty, because it looks and makes more sense than “ I guess that’s what pressure can do to you “
  14. I think how it works is it’s looking like selling the Stadium or go out of business, the worst owner in our history and probably English football as well and truly screwed us. As I’ve been saying in another thread building the stadium was financially irresponsible at the time, we should have bought the ground got the planning which would have lasted 3 years or indefinitely if we made a start then pulled the plug on it till it was financially responsible to carry on. Now the stark reality means Club or Stadium, I know what one I want, but if Moshiri had done as I said we could have had both, it may have taken another 5-10 years until we found owners who could turn the clubs finances round and then build the stadium.
  15. That’s life that’s what all the people say you’re riding high in April shot down in May. Pick yourself up Rom you’re gonna get over it mate, and remember that’s life so change the tune and you could back on top in June
  16. I don’t know how we won that but the 3 points are all that matters.
  17. 5 minutes better than I expected I thought we were going to be in for another 8 or so.
  18. That’s his seal impersonation
  19. That was a foul for on Beto
  20. We need to get one more, this is by no means in the bag, we look like we are team with 10 men.
  21. Branthwaite again sorts it out at the back.
  22. That’s a result, I think we’ve been lucky today that Burnley have helped us win more than ourselves
  23. Strong from Branthwaite
