£500 or more is not just something you pluck out of thin air. You might not understand what our money is like but that's quite a lot of money. Yes I really love my team.

Unfortunately not, I don't have a spare £500+. I'll be watching on the TV though. Hopefully we'll put in a much better performance in this leg.

That's the type of phrase used when you have a bunch of nobody's and wouldn't know a star player if it danced naked infront of you. The Premiership is league full of stars and Arteta is a prominent one amongst them, you'll see lad.

If you knew him then you would know he is going to run the show on Thursday. He has more class in his left foot than any of your players have in their entire body. Have a nice day

You do know he was against us moving for Nugent and doesn't rate him very highly?
  7. Arteta in the middle would not play to his strengths IMO. He would need to work harder on defending if he was played in the centre, I know he does track back when he plays on the wing but in the centre he wouldnt have as much freedom as he gets on the wing. Plus where does Cahill go? Because a defensive mid would be even more important if Spuddy was in the centre. I know Hibbert doesnt get as much support as he perhaps should, but whats wrong with just passing the ball to one of the central defenders? It's not exactly a difficult thing to do. Or even play the ball infield instead of down the wing. Baines manages it fine so why shouldn't the more experienced Hibbert be able to do it?
  8. Oh shit yeah I always forget because I put the DM on a different line. Take Grav out and that's my side.
  9. I tipped a Spurs win for Mac you'll be pleased to know.
  10. Howard Neville Yobo Lescott Baines Jagielka Arteta Cahill Gravesen Pienaar Yak Faddy/Aj
  11. Thank god for that, I can close in even further this week. Not sure what I tipped for Mac tbh, either a Spurs win or a draw though.
  12. I'm not laughing because I tipped a draw There'll be an announcement of him leaving by mutual consent in the next few days I'd say.
  13. Talking of the MOTM voting, can people actually vote. It only takes a few seconds of your time.
  14. I just thought he was quite quiet, nothing like when he was running the show in the opening two games of the season. Pienaar, though, is going to be an important player if he keeps on improving like he has been. I'd forgot all about mentioning him tbh.
  15. They're auctioning some off on EAuction
  16. I give credit where it's due, and criticise when it's necessary. Simple really.
  17. Babyshambles - Shotter's Nation (album)
  18. Late, but happy birthday Liam
  19. Did you have a good day out of the asylum then mate?
  20. You need to take into account that Boro barely had any fans there Licker.

I hope that we can at least win 1-0 but I think it will be 0-0 unfortunately.
  22. Hibbert and McFadden were our best players yesterday, I thought they both played excellently. Faddy won header after header upfront and looked very lively. Hibbert, other than a couple postitional lapses and needless hoofs, had the best game I've seen him play. I agree with Mike. though, we didn't play all that well and if it had have been a better team the game would have been over within 20mins. I don't think Spuddy played all that well, that being said, he still set up a goal so you can't grumble. Jagielka had his worst performance for us so far, hopefully he can make things right next game. Neville wasn't as bad as usual but still not very good. Stubbs was shouting at everyone, mostly needlessly. For example, to Howard because he let a shot go over the bar Job done, but improvements are needed and fast.
  23. Baines used to play left mid at Wigan, and they moved him to left back. Let's keep him there.
  24. http://www.thefootballnetwork.net/main/s78/st121418.htm We've been linke with him before. I have to say I don't know all that much about him, but its good (if true) that we're looking at young players.
  25. No idea mate, I wouldn't expect him to start if he was back though.
