Poor Bolasie, , the multi millionaire getting paid to be injured. I'm sure he'll be be well offended. Better side without him and haven't missed him one but. Blessing in disguise.

Have to be very astute with signing relegation battled players, for every Gueye (relegation clause I hasten to add) theres....

    Robles
    Alcaraz
    McCarthy
    Kone

Very difficult to judge, granted taking relegated managers on is a doddle though.....

The amazing form then the amazing drop off of said form....amazing. If I didn't Know better I'd guess that theres a background issue at play. Djokovic has fallen off a similar cliff too. Chips off the old Bloc(k)?

He's found a system that works. He's getting rid of players who aren't good enough. He's bringing in better players which is actually providing competition - players are reacting to this, see Baines' comments. He's keeping form players in. Missing players may have given others a chance but those players could have still fitted into 4-2-3-1 with Geri on the wing, Mori and Williams at centre back, Cleverley in mid. I expect we'll sign another 2 players before the window closes which will strengthen us further.

This team is evolving into Koeman's - no question about it.

Work hard, enjoy the game, play to our strengths, and isolate the slower defenders they have, pull a yellow card or two out of them, keep an eye on Cabaye as he has a bit of quality when his mind takes him, besides that, run them to death in the middle then sub a few on to do the same.

I associate the high tempo pressing game with the Rocky Marciano style of boxing, knock seven bells out of them with workrate in the opening half then when tired they cant defend as well/quick and go for the KO. Relentless.

Avoid cheap freekicks that let them threaten.

Would be nice to see Bolasie's workrate in our all high workrate midfield of late, that would have been an interesting compare and contrast decision.

Steve, they played well as did all the team. Against Leicester they were poor as was all the team. We're up and down because we are in a transitional stage, new manager, new backroom staff, new DoF, new majority shareholder. New tactics, new style of play, new mentality. It all takes time.

There has been no dramatic improvement and I never expected for one minute there would be. Forget how we got to where we were, forget personel or who was responsible just forget all that for a minute, regardless of where the blame lies we were an absolute shambles, an aging squad, poor standard of players on massive contracts, devoid of any direction, desire or even belief. It takes time to fux things like that when it's ingrained in the fabric of the place. People need shippiing out, mentalities need changing, people need to believe again. Change is never instant from situations like that.

Graham Taylor - should be remembered as being a "man".

Gave Elton John some home truths that probably saved his life from drug abuse - many managers wouldn't have the bottle to do that to their chairmen.

Stood up to a brainless lout who was abusing John Barnes when playing for England.

Koeman is having to cut the decayed flesh from this Everton body, the poison that fraudo infected the squad with is not easily healed, we have good players that have been undermined in their respective games by the conman, instilling new belief, restructuring confidence, and having the squad enjoy playing again is no overnight job. Some of the players look shot, some will never regain their best performances, the scorched earth policy of the last regime is almost total and quite simply put Koeman is a godsend for having us top half and slowly turning the squad around.

Thank the lord the youth setup produced a few lads fraudo didn't brainwash, that we've made it to another window and are shuffling players in as well as out, so what if this season is a write-off, it was always going to be that way because of the paid-off-prick.

Theres quite a lot of this view (on here but elsewhere too) that Koeman hasn't changed all that much, well we aint shipping goals like we used too and have lost once in the league at Goodison. That's not job done, but by fuck its a start, the only realistic start that could have been made.

It's quite out of order laying into Koeman this early, so when it happens i'mgoing to be only too happy to callout fraudo time and again. As Koeman rights the many wrongs in the side, the calls of failed improvements and passionless displays will die back. It's an awful shame more weren't calling out fraudo as early as they are Koeman now, we definitely would not have had to take so many steps backwards to stop the rot before we can start to move forward.

I never thought my fellow Evertonians would end up demanding success instantly like so many know-nothing tit-heads that infest so many other clubs, we've come through a massive illness and the healing is still happening, bad medicine or not alls we can do is take it for now and reassess come the summer.
