I’m seeing this game as a free hit, but not the game in hand, mentally I’m seeing the Sheffield games as the one in hand.

I’ll be happy to grind out a point or a wonderful victory in any way we can tomorrow.

Having paid his wages for the 3 seasons, where he’s not really played , I don't think it’s unreasonable to offer him a low wage and pay per game deal, we’ve shown faith and supported in him, now it’s time for him to return it to us.

Hopefully it will give the players that bit of encouragement for tomorrow 4 points ahead of Forrest and 5 over Luton would be a nice position to be in.

He impressed me last night, about the only Everton thing that did!

Most importantly he seemed to be in a good place mentally (if it’s possible to tell on TV of course)

Is it possible to get refunds on players who aren’t fit for purpose ?

Bad game from him last night, aside from the pass to Palmer, his reluctance to catch shots cost us goals after he palmed back into play in dangerous areas.

The only thing missing from his game last night was arm waving to the crowd, awful showing yet again from him.

1 we needed the win, achieved any way we could, it was ugly, a boring first 45, we got it. Job Done

2 Dyche post match remarks, sarcasm by any chance?

On a positive note, we have a game in hand over Palace, Brentford, Forrest, Luton and Burnley, technically is against the Shite, mentally we need to make it apply to any other game ( bar Arsenal) 

And next season they are looking at dropping the points deduction penalties, it’s just a complete cluster fuck, how the PL think they can maintain any integrity is beyond me.

I’d rather Gomes came on for last 30 mins, he’s too slow to play the full game, putting us at risk, he’s much better in the last 30 mins as we saw on Tuesday.
