As shit as he was tonight I hope he's fit for Sunday.

Quite easy to replace Onana, we've got a tremendous track record of signing overhyped lazy fuckers who don't give a shit about the club.

Was a hugely embarrassing, verging on shameful, time for the club. I'd honestly have felt prouder to be an Evertonian in the Championship rather than have him at the club; as a Blue you get used to taking a bit of verbal, most of it you roll with because you know you have 150 of history and dignity that few clubs can match to fall back on.
For six months we lost that completely for me. Horrible time and a horrible man.

    Exactly this.
The amount of points we have been deducted is quite astounding for the serverity of what Everton have actually done.
If we do end up getting relegated it will be these 8 points deducted that take of us down. I have said it before this  points deduction debarcle that we have endured all season have been like a tractor beam that has constantly pulled the team in to the relegation battle. We have a bit of breathing space of a 4 point gap on Sunday - boom we are back to being one defeat way from falling in to a relegation zone.
Being in a relegation fight brings its own anxiaty and stress to footballing squad, and we have been artificially pulled into it most of the season. I really think the stress of it all on the playing and management over pretty much the whole 23/24 season has quite easily cost us 5-6 more points (maybe more).

Exactly this, let’s now channel our anger into coming together and galvanising our strengths to beat the drop and stick to fingers up to the PL, as the saying goes don’t get angry get even, let the higher hierarchy of the club fight an appeal, let the team and fans fight to win every point available to us before the end of the season.

Onana pisses me off. He's one of a many long line of players with tons of talent who decides to do the bare minimum

Looks like he’s got some of his mojo and swagger back, it’s going to be needed.

Too sore to play allegedly.  He did full training session though.
after the Newcastle game and his reaction to the substitution I expected it.
not a big dyche fan as we know but I see a problem with Onana.  A few things in recent months have pissed me off... the penalty, laughing at garners free kick and stopping when dyche turned around, the Brighton equaliser.

I see someone who doesn't care and who knows he's going in the summer.  Compare him to McNeil - awful first half, he's  got things going on in his personal life and is probably in a bad place - he literally covered 8km in the second half.  I actually got emotional seeing the crowd recognise him for his one man selfless act of running his arse off.

He did, apart from a couple of early mistakes where he lunged in and was beaten, after that he was imperious IMV

Should have done better with his other two opportunities but a great all round centre forward performance from him this afternoon.

The dropping has definitely made him up his game again. I thought he was brilliant today and snuffed out a lot of Burnley attacks.

Where was the bustling nuisance when he came on? Dom had given everything while he was on the pitch and then Beto comes on and ambles around the place, putting in such a lethargic showing.

I’d rather Gomes came on for last 30 mins, he’s too slow to play the full game, putting us at risk, he’s much better in the last 30 mins as we saw on Tuesday.

    He is capable though.
I think as a team we use him for all his other strengths and neglect him in terms of allowing him to be in the best places to finish.
Let's not forget, before this season he had 2 injury riddled seasons where his appearances were very stop-start.
Before that, he had 2 seasons of getting 15 and 21 goals for us...when told to focus on just being a striker.
He also netted 4 times for England.
It's mad frustrating for us all that we know, whatever opinions on other matters are, that a scoring DCL...even just another 5-10 goals this season so far...would have us in a very different position.
Hopefully he can now get some confidence back and have some sort of impact for us.

The momentum was with us once we scored, a win would have been wonderful, but the point is more than most would have expected before kick off and even at the start of the season.

This is all getting so frustrating. Given the limbo we are in then, a new owners should give the same 'bounce' effect as a new manager coming in to the club. We are in danger of even missing out on this short term 'positive' of a new enthusiastic owner coming in to the club.
We are counting every point at the moment - so any sort of 'boost' would be very much welcome. This short term 'bounce' could easliy be worth 6 points or more - we have not been massively outplayed in games, and results have been down to fairly tight margins, I feel the optomisum of a new ownership permeating around the club could have been massivley beneficial in the bad run of results we are in.
If the PL are taking their time over this because there focus has been on FFP hearings, then we really have had the shit end of the stick with double whammy of a points deductions (or two!), and currently missing out on a potential new optomisum bounce.
I cant wait for this season to be finished and it fuck all to do with the football or board at the club this time around. All pretty much down to the PL and the fact its as poorly run as Everton football club has been run in the past. As fans we have suffered our own internal shortcoming, but we also seem to be the fans suffering the most from PL shortcoming as well.
