The only way I see the premier league getting out of this and saving face is to call an amnesty on any current PSR issues, including Chelsea (but not all of City’s as most of their charges are not really PSR and more manipulation), and announce the rules from next season onwards. But they can’t put a figure like £105m out there and not allow for inflation and leave it for ten years. They also need to be wording it differently, like stop saying you are allowed to lose £105m as it’s a really bad look for the game. Talk about it as your owner is allowed to invest £105m above generated income. And not £105m as it’s not enough.

The product is miles better than the last three years. Remember we won 8 games in the whole of last season in the league. We won our 8th on Dec 16th this season (17 games). Need to end this run of games (6) without a win though.

He will be one of the best centre half's in the game before long... if not already.

I’d prefer Gerrard, or Lampard, FSW moved across so it’s time for payback.

A not so subtle bit of seed sowing, he’s become a joke in my eyes.

Ankle surgery apparently, he’ll definitely never wear the shirt again now.
If it’s cost 10m for his wages in this spell and his involvement in the palace game kept us up, then it’s probably benn worth it?

Id sell Onana for the daft money touted. For all his athletic potential he lacks heart and can't strike a football.

many may disagree but I think he sells himself and us short. I couldn't bare the thought of selling branthwaite as he will be the best if not one of the best centre halves in the world.

Christ almighty, that was two fucking shite football teams. Thankfully there was at least one moment of quality to get the win for us.
As bored and as cold as I was at Goodison it was also a relief to get away from all the off field stuff and concentrate on the football.

Dom’s not finding the net as we would like him to, probably as we’re not giving him the service he thrives on, and for me, it’s clear Beto does not bring the range of quality Dom has, we need to stick with Dom and feed him better opportunities.

Mr Masters dug the PL into a bigger hole imo, one rule for us one rule for City, things like that must surely go in our favour at any appeal.

DCL is our main penalty taker so you would think he could cope with one on ones, by making his mind up early and committing to the shot. He’s snatching at opportunities with no belief or conviction in what he is trying to do, yet he is still by far our best player at playing the lone role up front and the opposition defenders would rather not have him on the pitch than have him on it, that’s how difficult he is to play against he can’t score but he does so much more for the team in his work ethic and hold up play.

As I read it, it’s just farcical being charged again for a period we have already been sanctioned on.

He looks like he is a confidence player. We need to get him on the scoresheet and then see what happens.
Having him back coincided with our best run of results for a very long time. And make no mistake, the hardest chance for any player to put away is a one on one, always has been and always will be. He needs to be on the end of balls into the box, that’s where his strengths are.

It doesn’t look like we can use January to find a solution either, so we need to work with what we have and find a way for us to get goals again.

As Bill was always active in the competition threads, and actually set up and managed a fair few of them himself, we decided to rename that section of the forum in his memory. Sure people will approve...and thanks to @Zoo 2.0for the suggestion.

As long as it takes because, as I said, having Beto playing means everything else falls apart. Having someone up front that can actually win the ball and hold it up is vital to our whole game plan for us to then get others up there to win the second balls, or have the striker lay the ball off.
Beto doesn't even jump for headers and the ball bounces off him more often than that. As far as I can see he's only useful to bring on towards the end of the game to just go and be a nuisance and hope he can take advantage of a tired defence.
Dom is our best option because he's about more than goals for us. Take him out and we have nothing.

    Story behind that.
He did indeed do a standby forum, and independently I did the same for the same reason. There was a bit of friendly rivalry over who had the most members signed up (I did), but then one day I tried to log onto mine and found the whole thing had disappeared
Got onto servers and had it restored, went into control panel to see if I could work out what had happened, and discovered that Bill had deleted it😂 He'd guessed my password (probably something as imaginative as "joshua") and killed the site!
I gave in at that point and didn't bother to get it going again, and I never told Bill that I'd found out it was him (he was all, "oh no Mike, what's happened?"). Says something about his will to win I guess, bless him.

I was going to mention this too. Clean tackle that the ref deemed fine and gave a throw in. Then gave it as a foul and a yellow card.
Coote is one of the worst of the lot and earlier in the game when Tarkowski went down after a challenge from Watkins the ref rightly gave a foul, but he wasn't going to take any further action. He only decided that Watkins should be booked after he went and checked on Tarks and seen that he was bleeding. It was like he thought "oh there's blood, I better book him".
The officiating in this league is abysmal.

problem with Gomes is you don;t know which Gomes will come on to the pitch - he can make the difference either way. I think safety first against a decent Villa outfit - look after the point.

    Good grafting draw that.
Love our attitude these days. Proper go toe to toe with anyone and everyone...we've missed that for years.
Even the famous Dogs of War didn't finish games with 2 players bloodied and still on 😂
Yeah, our passing is frustrating and having a seriously out of form striker is likely costing us just now.
    The attitude though....ooooooh yeah!
    👏👏👏
