  1. I'd need to understand the mechanics of how it works. On the surface it doesn't sound good.
  2. Wanna recognise his performance yesterday. Nothing good to say about it but I just wanna recognise it.
  3. Too sore to play allegedly. He did full training session though. after the Newcastle game and his reaction to the substitution I expected it. not a big dyche fan as we know but I see a problem with Onana. A few things in recent months have pissed me off... the penalty, laughing at garners free kick and stopping when dyche turned around, the Brighton equaliser. I see someone who doesn't care and who knows he's going in the summer. Compare him to McNeil - awful first half, he's got things going on in his personal life and is probably in a bad place - he literally covered 8km in the second half. I actually got emotional seeing the crowd recognise him for his one man selfless act of running his arse off.
  4. I came away from the game concerned and I'll explain why. we have tougher games coming up that will rely on us having some ability to put passes together. We were against 10 men of a poor side and looked the worse team. we need Onana to be the best version of himself and gana winning us the ball back. Play Gomes in there with them and put garner right mid. doucoure looks like a league one player.... a couple of times he panicked on the ball and just kicked it back towards our goal and fortunately one of our players got there first. Whatever he offered - he doesn't anymore
  5. My brother goes to all home games I've been to 3/4 this season - the wins against Newcastle and Burnley in the cup I felt fine after..... watching games at home I relieve the stress by venting on the forum. Can't do it at the game
  6. Exactly what I said - Oliver was being an absolute prick. Was surprised he gave the red card. Linesman on main stand side in first half was appalling too. gomes gave us composure we've not seen in a long time. I'd drop doucoure for Gomes and have Onana and Garner with him, let Gomes be the roamer
  7. Fans were going berzerk.... had his head down feeling sorry for himself. The applause he got for the one man press was brilliant though. That's all we need from him - effort. He looked broken and I was a bit concerned tbh.
  8. I actually needed to sleep when I got home. I was physically exhausted - nerves were fine before game I think... went gym etc. At half time I realised I was sitting in a state of pure footy nerves. 80 minutes on I was just swearing a lot. Sat on roasting hot overcrowded train and needed my bed. can't we enjoy a stress free game? It truly is exhausting
  9. Exhausted after that. Appallingly bad. gomes and branthwaite superb. McNeil second half was vast improvement. really don't know where our points are coming from - they were awful but we made them look like Real Madrid.
  10. Awful awful performance so far. We need these 3 points desperately.
  11. No Onana and gueye ..... my suspicion is the Onana reaction to his sub wasn't appreciated
  12. Worst thing about it is you can see everything so clearly - when you are shite you really look shite.
  13. Upper balcony today. Last time there we hammered Newcastle so hopefully I'm good luck. we need to be at the them straight from the first whistle. Dominic king saying dyche has lost a few of the players.... don't give a shit - they play for us and shouldn't need smoke bombs and stuff to remind them of that. We need to survive and the surgery can commence in the close season.
  14. I actually think this was the performance that will probably shut them up.
  15. Yep.... he can shift. The fact you are surprised says it all - he doesn't do it often enough to notice. seen him pick up the ball and drive once - impressive, genuine ability to break the lines. Not seen it since.
  16. Special mention to "Jill Scott" Burn - how every set piece wasn't a free kick to us is beyond me. What an absolute yard dog he is - just wants to slap hands and wrestle
  17. Well if you look at the "watch him go when he leaves Everton" comments then yes. He will leave, he's playing like he's leaving. Will he become this world class player? - no. I hate to use Gerrard as an example but physically and athletically he could do what Gerrard did for Liverpool for us. He's clocked the highest top speed for a midfielder this season - he's literally a gazelle, he can tackle, he can pass, he's strong, he should dominate the air. Can't shoot but I'd have thought he would practice that.... ultimately we don't see it. We don't see it cos it's not in him. Simple as that.
  18. The disallowed goal gave him a bit of a panic and made him realise it needed to change and he knows fans are fuming with him sticking to the same old same old.
  19. 2 tackles and 1 interception mate. he focuses too much on looking the part rather than grabbing the game. Lost the ball 5 times. Doesn't do enough for me, not with that physique and athleticism. Not when you look at what Declan rice was doing for West Ham. he's way too passive for me.
  20. I see a player who's checked out if I'm honest.
  21. Excellent tonight. The barcodes will be fuming
  22. So you didn't watch the game but you are commenting on what other people were saying? I'll give you the stats 17/25 passes. 68% - shite, gave it away when we had chance to do things 3/9 ground duels won...2/6 aerial. lost possession 15 times. but yeah a Newcastle player decided to headlock him for no reason and got a penalty. He was poor as expected.
  23. Just listened to Ped on toffeetv talking about Onana like people don't understand football. "Go look at his numbers". I did..... they reek of a player who is coasting. Lost most of his duels, lost possession 5 times. The one I noticed was shocking, tried a stupid short pass outside our area and nearly got punished. he plays like he's a veteran who just wants to sit back and play tidy passes..... we're in the shit amadou and we need you to actually put some towards in. garner and Gomes looked like they were giving us a bit more
  24. Based on how we performed when he went off I wouldn't say so. very very economical with his running
  25. Took young to act like a mad man to get the decision
