I would'nt mind us managing to put back to back seasons together ! its always a worry for me that we'll finish 6th or 7th this season and then struggle in 11th or 12th next season, I just hope we can stave off the so called bigger clubs <_< inevitable big bids for johnson, cahill and arteta which i think will definately come in for all 3 at the end of this season, plus weather or not the players might be tempted to leave us for the chance of champions league football, I know we'd get good money for them but they would be hard to replace !! It's a real concern, but maybe (hopefully) the sky money we will get will stop kenwright from being tempted by the big money offers !

Give me the new ground in kirkby any day ! When its eventually built all the blues saying they won't go there is ridiculous, if you support everton fc as long as were not moving over the water or to st helens, you should'nt really give a toss if were in the boundries of liverpool city council or not, to every away fan in the country ( in their eyes ) they will be coming to liverpool to watch there teams play everton. They would have to sort out the slow service, which is shite ! but it would be quicker to get a bevie if it was on draft. I know you can get a beer now but i'm on about through the game, there's nothing worse than having a good few pints before kick off and then drying out for 45 mins till you get your next one. If they can do safe standing area,s then they surely can sort out this ludicrous no beer during the game problem, plus if you can get a beer and take it back to your seat at any point during the game it would ease the mad fucking rush for a pint at half time and everyone geeting lashed up in the ground would help to make a better atmosphere. I wouldn't want the netting !!!! they should sell beer though, why all grounds don't have beer on draft in thin plastic pint cups is beyond me, they do it in all there sports grounds in america throughout the games ! If its a safety issue you couldn't do much damage or get much distance if you tried to throw a plastic pint cup onto the pitch unless it was full, and I can't see many sousers wanting to throw a full pint of lager away !!!!!!!

I personally prefer to sit now, its nice to get a cup of tea and look through your programme in your seat before kick off (especially if I'm hungover which is most saturdays) plus you have got a great view of the game unlike when we used to stand and you were constantly battling for a good speck all game (It did'nt help being 5ft 7in either). I do agree that standing areas would make for a better atmosphere if they could be done safely, anyone who prefers to stand are welcome to it. I don't think if they re-introduced standing area's they would be anything like the old gwladys street or away derby games in the old kop were you were packed in like sardines . The thought of getting my trainee's and jeans covered in shite and being soaked with sweat after every home game does'nt sit well with me anymore, also turning around at half time to find a half pissed old fella pissing into a rolled up echo, no thanks :sad01_anim:. There's talk of having standing area's with a seat behinde you and a bar to lean on, whats the point in that ? we stand up most games now and the only difference is that there's no bar to lean on ! so that idea is rubbish ! Give me my seat any day.

It would be a nightmare if we entered the inter-shite-toto and got knocked out after a few of rounds, getting into the uefa cup would as you know put a big strain on our little squad as it is if we finished 6th, i think being in the inter-toto could fuck us up big time in the league next season it will just tire our little squad ! Being in the prem, fa cup, league cup and I/T cup to progress to the uefa cup, its a lot of games ! not sure on how many rounds you have to play in the i/t to win it 5 or 6 home and away ? I don't think konami would bother putting Goodison in pro evo 7 because of the fact that it will probably be getting flattened in a couple of seasons ! Hopefully they will put the new stadium in a later edition of pro evo plus every other prem ground and have the rights for all english team names and players. Its a brilliant game but it loses some credabiity because of all the stupid team names (i.e: mereyside blue), i think they should adress this issue then worry about the grounds.
