  1. Want to finish above liverpool?.....simple win at home to Newcastle! I think the lads can do it.
  2. Hello Bailey, can't fault your parents choices !....how's the weather, no DON'T answer that! Welcome.
  3. Louis, she's got a bike in the shed, but flatly refuses to ride the 110 round trip to Norwich twice a week.......what are kids like!!.....I explained, she's bound to get back wind for one leg of the journey! MikeO, Sons insurance was £2,000.....daughters quotes are coming in at around the £1,000. This is Norfolk, there's a stage coach comes through the village once a week........they needs cars
  4. Thank god my daughter PASSED her driving test this week! Oh hang on!........now I've got to get her a car, insure it, and bloody well put petrol in it , maybe it would have been cheaper to sort out a broken window and a crumpled pc in the driveway
  5. Look, if it helps in any way, I was driving the car.....ok! I'll gladly piggy back you to Goodison park massaging your feet as I go.......just Fuc%ing come back. THIS is where you play your best football.
  6. Was working for me......then someone removed my post and vote
  7. Start looking down the back of the sofa Mr Moyes, save your pocket money and get the car boots booked for the summer..........just get enough money to buy Pienaar back.Oh and if there's any over, get ready to increase Jelavics contract. No white flag, the lads did pretty good.
  8. Little bit of pressure for United with City making a bit of a fight of it.They know they usually beat us at Old Trafford, they will feel they HAVE to beat us............but the simple truth is! Yep......they will beat us . Seriously, the lads might just want to kick out a bit after last week and give it a real go, something to prove, anything except
  9. Dalziel, I think it's a very big assumption that there was 'no loving' going on !! That we'll never know. You don't like the fact that 'kids' didn't know about the disaster, well you have that Hollywood film you hate so much to thank for a whole new generation now knowing about that night.Kids would rather go to the cinema than read a book! Certainly has been a lot of coverage about the event, I guess you've had plenty to go at. Another small story I can add, is an old lady friend of my Mother-in-law was in possession of a letter written by a survivour of the Titanic.Think she sold it years back!
  10. Thanks for that, I'm curious as to your obvious interest in the Titanic.
  11. Back on course! Work with a chap whos grandfather had tickets for the Titanic, was hoping for a new life in Canada.Close family member died of polio, so the trip was put off for a time.Travelled across the Atlantic later on the 'Carpathia' !! He would have been in 3rd class on the Titanic, so his chances would have been slim.Didn't work out for him in Canada and he returned a while later. Have been reading some of the repro newspapers on the Titanic disaster.A report in the Daily Mirror dated Tuesday April 16 1912 states that a Mr C.H Stengel a first class passanger SAW! large chuncks of ice thrown onto the decks killing a number of people! Also a number of survivors stated that Captain Smith and the cheif engineer killed themselves with a revolver!...two little stories of the terrible night that I'd never heard before. Dalziel Kane, can you shed any light on either of these two accounts!
  12. Strange that.....didn't know Kenwright had a fuc%ing pony tail!
  13. I thought Cahills form in the last couple of games and his linking with Jelavic was maybe just about good enough for Moyes to take a risk, sadly he was wrong! Moyes wont improve if he can't accept his mistakes, recent history points to the fact that he doesn't. It would nice to stay above the rs in the league but the temptation surely must be to get Duffy and some other youngsters some more games before the end of the season, give Anichebe a chance with a run.Might drop a couple of places, but you might learn something ready for next season. Start to contemplate life without Cahill.....and get enough money to buy Pienaar.
  14. Just think one or two players didn't have good games, there did seem a mindset change after the goal, up till then we did look the better team. I just hope Torres score the winner against them in the final and we finish higher than them in the league. We play better with Pienaar, fact!
  15. The two rs goalscorers cost more than our entire team, if we actually had enough money a couple of our players today wouldn't have been any where near the wembly turf. Pienaar is our best/most creative player and he was missing, Baines plays better when he's there. We've just lost a game of football to the most unpopular team in the country......get over it. As for Moyes, he's got us to 7th with a small squad and a cup semi-final.
  16. To all you Blues travelling down, have a safe journey and a great day.Out sing the rs please, even if we lose! Would have felt more confident if Pienaar was playing, but whatever team Moyes puts out, we will be behind them. I can see Cahill giving everything, it's just his sort of game.Gibson needs to test the goalkeeper early on, Fellaini needs to avoid the rs getting him sent off, Baines take the free kicks, Jelavic keep scoring...............and erm, what other advice do I have, oh yes..... WIN........ please
  17. To be honest, if the owners let him throw another £100 million or so around and he get's it half right this time, who's to say they wont have a decent season?.......Who are the form teams as this seasons comes to an end! Sad to say I can't see the king being the one entrusted to spend the money. If we beat them Saturday AND finish above them then he's gone. Just about all of the neutral fans around my way want a Blue win Saturday, there is a real dislike for the rs these days, they are so sad to listen too. I can take a defeat on Saturday, don't want one, but I can take it.They have to win.......expect death threats if we win. Kinda makes me glad to be a Blue.
  18. The rs will have players back for this match, the big spenders can't afford to lose this one.....can they? Blackburn could do us a few favours Tuesday night, the Yak will stick a couple past the new keeper, just to help with confidence and all that....and one or two heavy tackles wouldn't hurt....well, unless your on the end of them! liverpool will raise their game, they always do against teams above them so it will be a battle. Jelavic seems adept at keeping his shots low, should be a problem for the big lumbering keeper. Chance for Moyes to show 'the king' how to motivate.
  19. Jelavic, for his all round play and his well taken goals. I'm sure the prem is faster than what he's been used to, so maybe there is better to come! Others will need to get amongst the goals, otherwise he will soon be singled out by defenders.
  20. Norwich City manager Lambert, they haven't just done well, they play some very decent football.
  21. How dare you question the king! Your membership of this forum is in danger if you keep slandering the king. The majority of us on here think he is doing a wonderfull job, are you too young to remember his goals, his really nice passing and how good he looked in the number 7 shirt ?, those things alone should be enough for him to complete his 3 year contract. Infact, I would actually like that contract extended, you only have to look what he has done for team spirit, and his singnings will come good, somewhere! Leave the king alone!
  22. Reina or no Reina, it wont matter, it will be hard for us, we know they raise their game when they play teams above them! Anyway, Gerrard will probably play in goal, come up for corners and get a hattrick!
  23. Jelavic, could/should have had a couple today, but his all round game is excellent.Liked the move where he took the ball high on his chest, turned nudged it with his head and had to be hauled back or he was away....brilliant.
  24. Ban all British football fans from service stations.........or is that unjust and unfair? Yep, a five year ban on ALL football fans.
  25. West Brom are a few points off the 'battle at the bottom'....how will they come to Goodison? a couple of wins and they should be safe, I don't know who they've got left, but will they see this as a 'just go for it' anything they can get from us would be a bonus, if they play without fear they could just give us a few problems. Maybe Moyes will see this as a chance to start resting a few players! be great if we could do that and still win. Didn't quite work last time.......2-2
