Cheers for that. I was under the impression fellaini was brought in for the defensive midfield role but having seen him last season it appears not. Shame really as cahill in his usual position would get us around 10 or more goals per season. Surprised moyes wanted to mess with that.

I haven't been able to catch many games in the last year or so for one reason or another, but what's happened to tim cahill? He has gone from banging in the goals to hardly being a threat at all. Any of you who go regularly to see everton, has there been a change in tactics? Is he affected still by his injuries or has he simply faded into the background and reached his premier league limit?

Everyone seemed to slaughter Lescott (views on teletext) granted they were either Man ure fans or red shite but at the end of the day, we didnt concede when he was on. It was the guys first start for England, give him a few more games before anyone starts critcising him, nerves were bound to play a part. Am not that big a follower of England anyway, what he does for us is more important in my opinion.

Cant remember any other sporting event other than football but Goodison did host songs of praise a few years back but thats about it as far as i know

Yep, they changed the rules when we finished 4th a couple of years ago and the RS went to Uefa with begging bowls and again got their own way despite finishing 5th the year they won it. Could never understand why they were not so desperate to defend the uefa cup they won in 2001 as they were to be allowed back into the champs lge - especially when the arguement was that champions should be allowed to defend the trophy

I have been here for roughly just on a week or so now (haven't had much time to post yet and even introduce myself!!) am familiar with a few users of this board. Iggy, Blue 250, toff46, Ryansson and JartyJ who all used to be members of a forum i had that recently closed! Before closing the forum, i saw a link posted by Iggy to this place so thought i would come over and see what things are like on here and am impressed with it, the place looks good So hello to everyone on here, and am sure it will be good speaking with you all

If we get an early goal then i see us winning the game say 3-1. An early goal could be vital to upset the charlton gameplan. Failure to score early will probably see them sit back and be happy to take the draw. Damn frustrating when that happens
