I think Dyche is in big trouble if we lose on Saturday. I’m tired of all the chopping and changing but at the same time I’m not arsed if he goes… I can’t stop caring and still go every week but Everton are just meh to me - nothing surprises me (apart from when we actually win). I try to block the negativity as much as possible and avoid the subject of EFC with non-Evertonians as it’s enough to send me mad!

Poor set-up today - credit for the past week but shocking today and it’s very much on Dyche.

Play Harrison in front of him for 90mins and we’re not talking about this.

I can see Danjuma going down the same route putting his own needs before the teams.
Lucky we got him on loan with no obligation then. Play him centrally with Beto or DCL and McNeil and Harrison either side and you’ll see what he can do - that will stretch even the top sides something we’ve not been able to do in a long, long time.

He has aggression, accuracy, creativity and ran forward with the ball. This is the Onana we thought we were getting.
Needs to play in a 2 more with Garner - may happen now we have McNeil and Harrison ready (players who will work all over and non-stop). I do think Dyche will revert to Gana and Doucoure though.
-
I gave it Branthwaite as a roll over from the Arsenal game as we didn’t have one for that game - over the 2 games, he was the stand-out for me.

I’d like to see the two of them together up front. Battering rams
Perfect opportunity in the next 2 home games - maybe not from the start but I hope we get to see it with McNeil and Harrison whipping balls in (with a 2 or 3 goal cushion to ease the transition).

Sound performance yesterday - him and McNeil on set-pieces makes us threatening from both sides - we need this so Garner needs to be starting every week.

I wonder if that's why he was dropped, get the best out of him when McNeil is back and build a relationship between the 2.
Just need that with Patterson and Harrison so we never need to see Young play again.
1st point - yep.
2nd point - Young’s a useful player - I want Patterson/Harrison to be the first choice partnership but don’t get all the hate for Young - one of our few players who is comfortable in possession, bags of energy, versatile and actually has a bit of know-how. He’s not a long-term option but is valuable in the short-term.
Evertonians need a scapegoat - it’s what we do.

Another solid performance from him last night, he is back in the side on merit at the moment
100% this. Brings balance and seems to be growing in confidence - having McNeil back helps.

He's our first choice LB, so he absolutely will be starting every week.
Just like I said when he signed. isn't that right @c1982?

I doubt he'll make a breakthrough. He's consistently underperformed for many years.
He’s come out and explained why… maybe, with ‘everything’ out in the open, he can regain what he had. At 100%, he was one of the best in the world so he’s worth a bit of patience and support at least!

Said it before and I'll say it again: he's our best defender, by far.
He’s our best player, by far. As Evertonians, we love comparing… the next Rooney… but Branthwaite absolutely stinks of John Stones - classy player - love him!

I think many have forgotten how good Calvert-Lewin is (including many Toffees) - before the injuries, he was the main competition to Kane for England. The hype’s all about Toney (even with the ban), Wilson and Watkins at the mo but all were well behind a fully fit and firing Calvert-Lewin a couple of years ago. Beto, even if he doesn’t bang 10-15 goals a season, will still be a great signing if it allows Calvert-Lewin to get back to where he was.

The Esk on Twitter is a very good source on the business side of EFC:
’It is just noise. No doubt 777 would like to have Everton in their portfolio but they don't have the cash currently to do so.’
-
- 777 clubs include Sevilla, Hertha Berlin, Genoa, Red Star FC, Standard Liège and Vasco da Gama.
All can be found down by the bottom of their league bar Red Star who are top of a lower French league - fans protesting at most of these clubs over the poor ownership… sounds about right. Has Moshiri managed to find the one buyer who makes him look like a good owner?! We could be in for a rough ride if this isn’t stopped in some way.

The announcement video is sensational… we couldn’t get Salah, we couldn’t get Coutinho so we settled for Gray!

People seem to think this fella is a bit shit as a reliable source.
I have no idea myself.
Gray has just posted a dig (at Dyche?) on Instagram - thanking the fans but can’t play for someone who doesn’t respect him as a person.
No way back from this I guess.

It was similar to Luton and Fulham/Wolves to a point but the big difference is Garner’s in the position where Gana has been and can take that chance and Harrison is a natural right midfielder and the quality was evident - better players in their natural positions means we’ll take more chances when presented. Gueye had a big chance at 0-0 vs Luton last week - had Garner been there, it could have been very different.
