  1. Seemingly set to be announced today: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/everton-set-to-announce-the-arrival-of-arouna-kone-after-beating-newcastle-to-the-wigan-striker-8694072.html
  2. Spread the word: http://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/everton-football-club-keep-the-wreaths-and-motto-of-everton-football-club-don-t-change-the-badge
  3. Hehe.. something along those lines. Nil Satis Nisi Optimum, y'know, and you have to be warned Everton above the country. The Norwegian Premier cannot be compared to the Premier League in any way but country's top tier. I'd go with a British or German manager
  4. I'm Norwegian, and I can't believe you're talking about Ole Gunnar Solskjær as the new manager. Take a look at the current Norwegian Premier table and Molde's recent matches. Fine, he's won the two last Premiers, but he's far off any standard we should want to have at Everton. Edit: Take a look at what Egil Olsen did to Wimbledon, at Berg at Blackburn and at what happened to Wolverhampton this year with Solbakken at the helm. Norwegian managers in the Premiership, and more importantly at Everton? No, thanks
  5. This will be one interesting summer.. previous summers we've not been able to bring in players for financial reasons. now we HAVE to bring some starting eleven 20-25ers in. and we won't qualify for europe this year, we better realise it, but we still have the same financial issues.......
  6. Bah... same old, same old. I'm tired of being grumpy on Saturday nights....!!
  7. Whether we like it or not, Neville is gonna play.......
  8. I feel we're playing without wanting to win... without wanting to do anything, just pass the ball around and expect another to do the job and get forward. At least Drenthe showed some positive attitude when he came on. Otherwise it's total shite. And Heitinga did okay, Howard did okay, Baines did okay. The others have a total lack of enthusiasm. Do they even WANT to play football? Or do they do it for the salary? Whose fault is the lack of enthusiasm and amibition at the Club? Moyes? Kenwright? The players themselves? A mix? I don't want ONE more careless game like this. Raise your flags at Villa, lads! COYB
  9. I haven't seen us play this sloppy and careless in a long time. I mean, our performances earlier this season have been sloppy and careless, but this deserves the grand prize. And Neville was one of the most sloppy and careless ones. I counted more passes from him to an opponent than to a team-mate. Horrible. And we all know this is not the first time he does that. The last 5 minutes were disgraceful; we were all over the pitch, bumping into each other, no creativity whatsoever, no idea how to score goals, and we kept playing the long ball as if it was mid-july and no wind. I wonder when all this is gonna change. Donovan can't be very enthusiastic about his next few games for us now. And it was home. Against Bolton. Last placed Bolton. What I will want to remember from this match will be Howard's goal and Hibbert's lack thereof, but this all desperately needs to change if we are to stay away from the relegation battle this year. I never thought I would ever say that, I'm usually quite optimistic for an Evertonian, but now I do. Had this been against one of the top 5 teams, well, then I wouldn't care as much. But this was against last placed Bolton Wanderers. I guess in Moyes we trust, eh? COYB!

We'll win this 2-1. Drenthe with a strike around 65 minutes and a Baines penalty at 89 minutes.
  12. we're so lucky today..... embarrasing, really, if we get one point.
  13. Total disgrace. Didn't look like we wanted to win except the first 30 mins before QPR scored. We NEED more inspiration SOMEhow from SOMEwhere, the last 60 minutes was a waste of poor passing and not wanting to be on the pitch. EXCEPT a 17-year old with the only two shots on goal from our side. It's a shame. Same as last year, Coleman was one of the few creative players on the pitch. This year it looks it might be Barkley. We got experienced players on the pitch who really should perform MUCH better than they did today.. And,yes.. this looks pretty familiar. A looong old season. I really hope things will change. We need more creativity and inspiration; a morale boost, unless we won't start playing football until february as usual. Moyes' playing choices were also questionable.
