  1. its priority to get at least some signings in the bag, but i reckon this guy is goin nowhere. ihope he'll come good but he seems lazy; he never tried to help his career and move out the premiership, he just sat on the bench earnin wages at united. at least theres another experienced striker in the team now. good grab for about 2 mil tho, much better than smudge as you say.
  2. yeh but hes still let go of some money which could have gone to paying off these debts (he said he loves everton and would sell to the right investors so its no tlike he would willingly wouldnt leave us for death by debt)... im not into how much is in the kitty or has been borrowed for the stadium plans but the one thing that pissed me off was when we couldnt put a £30 mil deposit up for the site at the echo arena. walked past there tother day and thought would have been te best place, coc 08 and all that jazz... ...but now we've 'fucked off to kirkby' for the tesco arena seemingly <_<
  3. yeh johnson was rich, but he was a complete and utter wanker...at least BK cares about what happens to everton. he may not be a billionaire, but he has reached out his pocket for yak and johnson, and Moyes has turned us around. I would sy that he has a few too many west end shows on the go at the mo, but i'd rather him than some foreign ex-tyrant just lookin to rake back double his dough
  4. dont really like the sound of the new stuff, i liked all the guitars better, that trojan horse one was especially depressin :/ but you gotta hand it to them for the 'mercury' video though, that is one evil monkey

  6. brazil knocked them out, 2-0. there were 12 yellows apparently and one sending off.
  7. all those glamorous players we've been linked with are probably settled back in to their routine with their currnet clubs, and have no intention to leave anymore...maybe m'bia will still come but with our luck he'll probably break his neck at the olympics or something
  8. for god's sake you cant really be so hard on the players, pretty much everyone as compromised form there normal position, so its not really fair to just say they were shite...we were pretty crap, but it just boils down to numbers again. i thought baxter was good when he came on, but can't expect him to change the game on his prem début. Rodwell was okay, and at least we can shoot from outsid ethe box now, but he seemed like a safe player, just plodded around the centre to much. baines and yobo were good, just perhaps a lack of concentration on jags and jlo's part. neville was shit, and in a team where your height in midfield averages about 5"2, i cant see how hoofin it up the field is gonna work. we just needed abit more energy supportin the yak; ossy is too lightweight, and is a CM..we missed cahill, but this is where arshavin could have came into the mix. Blackburn werent even that good, we just didnt look like we've finished pre-season yet, we need some players
  9. Substitute Players 26. In any League Match a Club may include in its team sheet up to 7 substitute Players of whom not more than 3 may take part in the League Match subject to the conditions set out in Law3 of the Laws of the Game. got this from premier league rules... so basically you can have a max of 7 subs but you can still only use 3. i was under the impression it was a requirement to have 7, but this says otherwise :eh: either way, we are probably gonna get mawled by middle of the road blackburn on saturday unless we bring in some quality soon, yak isnt super man
  10. yeh he'd probably feel more at home in high school musical than Goodison

  12. http://www.setantasports.com/en/Sport/News...Premier-League/ i did hear that his wife and kids are now back in spain though. what kind of place is liverpool for a former miss spain anyway 'fancy goin the grapes tonight love?'
  13. on reflection i think that jags an yobo at CB would be best bet, but why does everyone say yobo is the most reliable? i think he's a bit too casual on the ball at times, but he is a solid defender, and quick as f*ck. then lescott LB (well in steveo), shame bainsey doesnt break in cos he is a good attacking defender. Neville at RB who can then overlap arteta. Sweet.

  15. I dunno if anyone else has suggested his yet, but do you reckon jags could play in the holdin role? i think he would be good enough for the job, and we could go back to roger and yobo at centre back, with neville rb and baines lb. i know its messin with a good strategy moyes has goin on here but its an interestin thought :cigar:
  16. yeh but we've been linked in the past, and altho i would rather have m'bia or diarra who are young, it seems that he would be a cheaper alternative, maybe around 6 mil at most, and that would be good with our current budget. i'd have diarra here, or m'bami or m'bia first though, there's just no developments on these transfer rumours yet, early days
  17. he was dominating the african nations, and would probably not ask for too high wages, and would be more than an apt replacement for cars. he is recovering from injury, and it would probably be his last cotract if he signed here but i think he would be a great signing, if fehnerbace were willing.
