  1. Hey mate, thanks for the post !

I like you guys, but i hope we get the points tomorrow !

I think the crowd will be buzzing, so a few empty seats of late may be taken up.

As for anfield, its not a football site, its just a site ! haha

Also there are many pubs around the ground etc, theres pubs on County Road, the main road in front of the ground, then there are two on Goodison Road, to be honest i don't know where the away fans drink as i use The black Horse or Royal Oak and there just filled with Everton fans... 99% of us are friendly so i wouldnt worry about staying clear of home fans, just drink anywhere that suits, and enjoy the game and Goodison !

  2. we played a bit more football than usual but they out passed us for the majority of the game and we only started to look good when they sat off hoping for a draw

I would have to disagree with this point mate, i think the official stats were well in our favour i think it was something like "Completed Passes" Everton 400 - 275 Sunderland ... I would say they played nice bits of football at times but they didnt pass us off the park for the majority of the game.

    • How has the season gone thus far for Everton? Has the team lived up to expectations?

    • We probably havent lived up to many fans expectations but losing key players like Arteta and Pienaar, obviously the latter just coming back on loan, weakened the side, not having a striker who can bag you thouse 15+ goals is key to why our season is currently quite disapointing. On the flip side we are now only 3 points off 8th place and into the quarter finals of the F.A Cup so all is not tooo bad.

    • How are things going with Moyes? Is he still doing the job? Are you worried about losing him in the near future?

    • Yes he's still doing his job, he's been great for the club, what annoys many fans is his stubborness to play a certain formation in nearly every match regardless of opposition... I'm not worried we will lose him to be honest, he is paid and respected well at the club, 10 years in charge next week is such an achievement in the premier league, something all of us are proud of.

    • What are your thoughts on Saha moving to Tottenham? Could he still have done a job for Everton or was it best to get him out?

    • He went stale at Everton to be fair. Looking at some of the game he has played for Spurs though he looks exactly the same as he did for us but he's got goals, i think the way Spurs play fast attacking football has suited him. Best of luck to him.

    • What do you think about Pienaar’s time at Tottenham? Do you think he will sign permanently for Everton and for how much?

    • Pienaars a strange one i think. I mean he's a top drawer player in my opinion, no doubt about that, he was always going to struggle getting in ahead of Bale,. but what i thought was strange was the fact i heard Kranjcar was ahead of him to int he pecking order, something i would totally disagree with. He also had his injuries with your lot... I hope he resigns, how much though, i wouldnt know !

    • Is Drenthe a player you would like to see Everton sign permanently? If so, do you think this is a possibility?

    • Tracking back he can be a bit silly, going forward , brilliant, might lose the ball a lot, but thats because hes trying to start and make attacks, something that hasnt always been the case with our team int he past. I'm not sure if i would want him permantely, to me, he's an impact player.

    • How far can you go with your current squad? What are some realistic expectations?

    • Current squad, i would like europa League football, perfectly capable of that, i think 7th place might seal the deal this year, not sure?

    • What is your opinion on Harry Redknapp? Should he be the next England manager?

    • he's english, why not? Top manager always has been, people say he has great man management skills too

    • What Spurs player do you view as the biggest threat to Everton gaining points this weekend?

    • Most of your squad ! If Van der Vaart plays, him, saha, Adebayor, Bale etc etc .. Also Friedl, top goalkeeper !

    • How would you like to see Everton line up for this one?

    • id love to see an attacking 433 formation with our full backs also bombing on and scaring the living daylights out of you, but thats me and it won't happen. Moyes will play 451 and go for two defensive mids at home as he loves doing it so much.

    • What is your prediction for the match?

    • 1-1 Distin and Van Der Vaart

  3. I thought we were talking about the cuphuh.png(I was anyway....it was kind of my point) .

Everton v Blackpool...37,384 (about 4,000 empty seats....the vast majority restricted views in our ageing stadium).

Sunderland v Arsenal...26,042 (about 23,000 empty seats....not too many resticted views in a stadium as new as the stadium of light presumably).

My friend called up at 1pm Saturday afternoon for a ticket and was told the game had sold out, so i an only presume the missing seats were from people who couldnt make it? Im not sure..

And with the blackpool game either sold out or near enough capacity then i can only see Sunderland being the same, if its not on T.V of course.

  4. He done my head in with h is poor choices yesterday, only the run leading to the goal saved him imo and he neraly lost that until the entire gwladys street told him to play it out wide to Baines, lost the ball a good few times in central positions, and they attacked on every single occasion, one time he lost the ball high up the field and just stood there, left baines to dfend to players down our left side, his decision making and defensive skills need a lot of work to become a polished prem player

  5. I just dont agree with the critism that TC, GN, DM and BK recieve. It's just not justified.

Welcome mate, i agree, in principle with what you mean but not with some of your points... But everyone knows as football fans, its a fickle sport, one week someone can be loved the next they can be hated in regards to our "better" players being totally out of form at the minute...

By the way, the quote up the top there i was confused with... I could just be being really dumb here, (lack of sleep etc etc) but who is GN?

  6. fed up with these performances, especially at home, fed up of fans getting on the players backs after 5 minutes of the game, fed up of the same tactics from moyes with every team in the league, fed up with saha who might aswell not be on the pitch, fed up of the same attacking mentality which every team is onto, get the ball out to baines, let him slide it in, were no attackers attack. Fed up of walking out of goodison feeling like ending my life. Something needs to be done, this club is slowly sinking and before it we will lose the remaining decent players we have and we will be getting 15,000 attendances int he championship against the likes of peterborough and bristol city

  7. off topic but in the same article moyes mentions whether both officials for the spurs/villa games would have got these games if we were at home.. I think not ! That PGMO are a bunch of tools aswell!!

Also i'm a fan that loves the club but has never stuck up for Bill nor went against him, i'm here to support the club and whatever happens, happens, but most recently i am becoming fed up with the lies and betrayal we are seeing from the top members of our club, it needs to be stopped sooner or later because we will only get weaker and weaker each season, its a shame :(

  8. 3 man midfield - Fellaini, Barkley and Rodwell *gets very moist*

3 prong attack - Donovan, Drenthe and Vellios....*get moist*

    Coleman at RB :o

Ive been saying this to a few friends most recently, id tweak it slightly and have felli rodwell centre, drenthe left wing donovan right and barkley playing in a similar role to cahill but a more creative role...moyes gets to keep his beloved 5 man midfield but its extensive and can attack well...

And why you trying to throw Hibbert out mate? Had a few class defensive displays of late ! :D

  9. Joey i think he means he didnt like what he read!

You may have worded it all wrong, did you mean you would sell everyone one of those players in the window, or just one?

Personally would not dream of even mentioning Baines, Jags, Fellaini in this topic... Heitinga won't get you much either, besides he's doing quite well at the moment, when he gets played centre half.

  10. I think its the loan market or nothing unless someone is sold int he transfer window... I wouldnt want to see moyes soend 2million on some second rate striker, weve had too many of them, again another reason why i think he would look into the loan market being the only reasonable option, but having said that, wheres the decent strikers you can get on a half season loan?

Good point Av about the loan rules.

  11. This may well be a blessing in disguise.

For me, Rodwell can go, say they offered in the region of 15 - 20m in an ideal world i would take that and say listen Bill, i use all this money on a class striker otherwise am doing one, and see where that gets him, i would be so pissed off if half of a sale went to the debts, wheres the arteta money and others etc because moyes has said he can only go in the loan market in jan. Winds me up writing things because it just reminds me of our awful position

  12. i think we will win it 2-1 because moyes might be outrageous and play a few other players.. cahill and neville dropped please, and if fellainis fit get him in there with barkley... How longs Rodwell out for?

  13. Can see your point, it would help his cause if we played better, trouble is we are struggling now and seem to be constantly so maybe a bit of youthful enthusiasm might help us.

agreed.. he should be given game time.. people are looking into things too much .. moyes obviously has always had his "favourite" players but right now its not working... A new tactic or formation needs to be tested in a prem match, ok if it backfires we can all pipe down but at the moment what hes doing is boring and stale.. i know for a fact home matches just arent exciting anymore, no one can even be assed singing.

  14. He'd been anonymous in the games (apart from the odd moments when you'd realise he was actually on the pitch) he played in before he was injured. I was glad to be shut of him for a few games, maybe the time out will have freshened him up and he'll be the creative player he's out there to be.

Got to say i agree with you there, very quiet few games before he got injured ... I'm looking forward to the other two coming back, i feel rodwell if he does get a game this weekend, needs to show everyone at GP that the solid display in his recent intls wasnt just for show... I question his awareness sometimes and int he EPL that is key... Drenthe ont he other hand is amachine and we need his direct attacking play more than ever at the moment... Drop Cahill too please Moyes

  15. I miss Per Kroldrup, Brett Angel, john Oster, Bakayoko, Idan Tal, Scott Gemmill and AVM

Bakayoko !! Used to get called "Back of the Echo" God knows why because he never scored.. I remember him scoring a great goal ina league cup game against some rubbish team i can't remember now, think it was a free kick ... Labelled evertons "Secret Weapon" when he arrived ... Boy have we had a few of them !!!
