    Stoke (home)

Could it have had anything to do with a midweek pissup in tenerife? I won't go on because everyone has mentioned the main parts.. Cahill must now be a bench player.. Moyes shouldnt have taken Vellios off... Why play balls to wide areas all game, (Thats all i was shouting yesterday) ... We need to pay refs off before opposition managers do, its becoming a joke and something i get used to every other week now at goodison, poor, porr officials ...
  2. haha Yeah me mate thought he was gay but by the sounds of it he loves the women.. If we get a sub standard match v stoke on sunday we all know why!! i havent had time but i will have tonight so i will get my mates pics, there quite funny, especially McFadden ones
  3. Moyes started him a few weeks back, cant remember who against and unfortunately he could not get into the game and then was subbed. Moyes then come out if everyone remembers and said for now Vellios can be a sub.. And by that he means Vellios is good at getting into these areas but needs to brush up on his all round play.. So saha didnt score but he contributed more is what Moyes (Not me) is probably saying... I for one though am really excited by him Slightly off topic, when Barkley came on V Bolton, he demanded the ball, i loved watching that and i don't want to draw comparisons but on this i will, it reminded me of Rooney when he had that raw talent demanding the ball, taking shots, muscling past people... Lads theres a little bit to be excited about in regards to players
  4. Most of the everton squad have gone out to tenerife for a little break!! Alright for some isnt it! My mates a DJ over there and he was with them all night, Cahill just kept pulling wads of cash out buying everyone drinks, supposedly Mcfadden was after all the girls with a cowboy hat on, (he has pics on his facebook so i will get them off later and post them up) Supposedly Distan and Saha were being miserable and Osman couldnt handle his ale and could hardly stand up! My mates a red but still said it was great seeing them all, he spoke to the fitness coach and there over there for team bonding...

    Bolton (Away)

yeah we need to be doing better inthe final 3rd, everyone seems to close together, no good movement off the ball, yes, we have had all the ball and mostly in the attacking half but were just not looking like a team that can stick the ball int he net at the moment, agree with the cahill shout, also osman just aint cutting it for me at the moment and i would have barkley in there too, he could just open bolton up... Bolton are there for the taking but we need just to be careful at the back too because theyve looked dangerous on the counter.
  6. hennessy better than howard !!! How did you work that one out?? So you would sell howard, distin ,saha, cahill, heitinga, billy, osman hibbo and neville. who would be on our bench ??? If were going to be honest, moyes if he does get some money for a loan deal or something would only be looking at a striker i reckon and the whole donovan thing might come up to. But apart from that i wouldnt get my hopes up.Dunno were everyones getting these ideas of having even good money to bring a loan signing in, were fucking skint
  7. Basically mogsy its saying we have an arab king who wants to splash out 6,000,000,000 in january alone and also to bring daniel amokachi back cos he liked his goal celebration v spurs in the fa cup 95... I dont know what to make of it though ....
  8. were getting ahead of ourselves here imo, only because what i see of rodwell before the intl break, was a player looking a little more confident but at the same time still passes the ball like a hot potato, i feel he also thinks somethings right behind him when he has time to turn and look up, i also feel his control is quite sloppy and that his awareness needs A LOT of working on. When he played int he intl games, he got that second half agaisnt spain were he did actually look quite good, but for long periods he wasnt being asked to play but more to defend, and the sweden match for me he did ok, nothing over the top, yes got in some decent positions but should really have scored with that header. Overall he is still only a "prospect" i wouldnt get too carried away, if cleverley was fit i don't think we would have seen Rodwell in the team, i'm not trying to come over as a hater but more of a realiist. He has a lot of work to do before he gets even close to a good midfielder, and the papers can tout ridiculous prices because afterall, they havent got a bleedin clue anyway. Its the teams that pay the 30 mils not the papers.
  9. jags and distin I dunno what it is about heitinga, i want to like him but i cant and don't seem to trust him for some reason, i know jags hasnt been at his best but i would still go for him, his england display was very encouraging, even with an injury!
  10. whats cahill on the pitch for, ive heard his name twice i think, and both times he made fouls, get 2 up front, !!!!!!!!
  11. hahaha I never trust Mucha, he always looks dodgy when the balls in the box!
  12. haha all the streams are rubbish today, ruined my afternoon !
  13. without stopping and starting?
  14. i cannot get a working link anywere now! Any updates lads? What i seen of a first half that kept stopping and starting due to bad streams, i thought we did pretty well, after all wer on the back of 3 straight defeats and were away to fulham
  15. Haha that's funny, every now and again he does fool people with them. And on the subject of Drenthe he does look perfect for our team as Redside mentioned... He just needs to remember when to try certain things like cross field balls etc as he has been caught out a couple of times with them.
  16. Welcome Redside, hope you enjoy your stay : ) As everyone has mentioned and as you have probably witnessed most of us on here are good lads, i'm not one that will constantly post but i constantly view threads and for me its the best forum out the lot
  17. I think thats a bit harsh pete dont you think? I dont want to get dragged in on the matter because it sounds like am jagielkas biggest fan and i'm not i'm just offering and opposed view, as someone mentioned they wanted earlier in the thread.
  18. What i mean is say you throw heitinga in there, he will need a couple of games to get himself going also, whereas i personally would like to see jags given a few more games. Obviously people are going to disagree and say throw heitinga in, as though hes going to set the world alight. In the world cup england were shocking and i remember everyone saying, get joe cole playing instead of whoever was playing left mid at the time, and it never really happened, and everyone was like "Why wont he stick Cole on" Well the reason was simple he wasnt really that good, and certainly wasnt better than the shite that started ahead of him. WHat i'm saying is, is, jagielka omn match day, isnt actually setting the world a light, but in training johnny mustnt really be any better. Moyes will play who he feels is playing the best in training, now i know you will mention his faviourites etc, but as you seen with the neville the last few weeks, he chose hibbert on form, which actually was the right call he offers more defensively and offensively in this present time than neville does, as someone rightly pointed out before.
  19. You only say that because Liverpool got there goal 5 mins after the substitution. You could actually blame Moyes for making the wrong sub at the wrong time, as soon as nev came on, liverpool got there break, then we were one less creative player down when it come to trying to get an equaliser. Also on subject i think jags should get a couple more games, a season is 38 + cup games, i know we have played a couple now, but he will come good just needs to find his high level of consistency. I didnt think Heitinga was that good against West Brom. Just because hes a dutch internation as some say, doesnt warrant you a start for everton. Moyes sees both of them in training, and obviously he's doing well enough to get games
  20. Les Parry just confirmed it on radio city
  21. Yes ok fair point... My point stands though we have never had a sniff in this transfer, i remember Moyes making a comment early on saying were not in the running for anyone unless i state so, so on the back of that, at this moment in time, its a pointless topic.
  22. To be fair we were never really involved anyway! And were the hell are we going to get 10m from now, ok we sell a player but we gotta wait for a deal to go through first anyway by then Villa would have put an extra mil in and got there man, so although i would have liked him here he wont be coming.
  23. I have to disagree with many points in this reply pax... I suppose one of the only matches you saw fellaini play in besides that City match would have been Bolton away? Where everyone else was shocking that day, his ball retention for a big fella is spot on, hes now calm under presuure and if you remember just before his injury he again was playing his best football, hes a complete midfielder, an excellent one at that, and me for one, would be hugely disapointed to lose such a talented player, but not only that your talking of losing our main man in the middle of the park, someone whos great in a tackle and can also spread play nicely... For me out of the players listed i would sell rodwell as at the moment hes still not a solid starter in our team, he cant even get starts for the england u21s!
  24. I'm gutted he never made the weight, that would have been one massive fight, there was talk there that since the press conference yesterday, the pay-per-view subscriptions went through the roof! I think if Cleverly retains the belt, there will be a fight between them both sooner rather than later.
