  1. i'm gonna go for bily. think anichebe will be good next season also but hopefully bily can have the kind of impact that felli had in the first half of this season once he is fully fit. i'm with the others aswell in saying he would be best behind the striker. also i think fellaini and heitinga will be massive players for us next season
  2. i would also send coleman back on loan to blackpool as we could see then if he really can cut it at the top week in week out. give him a full pre season with the blues then give the lad a 6 month loan, as said earlier better than sat on the bench
  3. sounds like a good ruling but surely these rich money men will find some way around this, also how would everton fare with these new rules. do we actually make a profit or are we subsidised in any way
  4. unbelievable this. the doctor said this injury is probably a once in 100 hundred years injury, such a freak accident. hope shane gets well soon and manages to recover enough to fulfill his massive potential. i'm sure everton and fai will do all they can to give him a speedy recovery
  5. Does anyone fancy roque santa cruz as our new number 9. can't really see him gettin a regular game next season for citeh and i think they may let him go for around £10 million. whenever he's played against us he has looked dangerous and his goal scoring record aint bad. Ok he's not prolific but his all round game would benefit our stlye of play alot. On top of him my other ins/outs would be: ins beckford (free) ledley (free) ireland (8 million) outs yakubu (8-10 million) vaughan (3 million)
  6. i mean you can understand us building the fanbase down under but why don't we do it like other teams do and arrange tournaments when we travel abroard. you could play better opposition, whilst still building the fanbase and it would be more profitable as more often than not sky usually buy these tournaments
  7. i would have- lukovic-at a good age on a free and can play LB or CB a position we need cover ledley-would take ledley as squad cover as even if he can't break into the team we could always sell him on for 3-5 million beckford-looks like a done deal anyway (i would then sell vaughan 3 million and yakubu for 8-10 million and buy a top class striker with the rest of money)
  8. i'm not being funny or anything but this pre season is not exactly a great warm up for next season. a trip half way round the world to play a few no mark aussie teams (prob the equivalant of our league 2 teams) then a match against everton chile who are prob league 1 standard. If we want to challenge for the top 4 surely we should be playing better opposition in warm up games!
  9. good stuff can you imagine the goals between him and hallam hope for the u-18s it will be frightenting!
  10. is this lad still at the everton academy then?
  11. i don't think we need to change much in the summer but lets hope whatever transfers moyes does make it's early on. my prefered transfers would be outs: Yakubu £10 million Nash (can see him retiring) Vaughan £3-5 million (just can't see the lad making it us now lost too much time in his development. although i prefer vaughan to anichebe i think moyes prefers anichebe's style/height/strength etc to vaughan's enthusiasm) yobo £6 million (i like yobo but cant see him being happy on the bench next season so get the money for him while we can) ins: replacement for yak, a world class hard working striker someone like huntelaar or marcus berg at hamburg (£15 million) left back cover prob someone a bit older as we have garbutt and bidwell coming through who are both left backs an out and out right midfielder someone like stephen ireland or david bentley (£10 million) senderos/scharner on a free transfer all in all that would be an income of about £18-20 million and spend of about £25 million surely we've got that money to spend
  12. about the game on saturday how many teams can bring on a 20 year old and an 18 year old and change the game! take my hat to the two of them
  13. i've heard he has a similar injury to dean ashton, but this is his knee rather than ankle, his bone has not healed propery, it is career threatening and there's no time scale if it does heal!
  14. i think senderos is a big possibility on loan for the rest of the season and i think michael ball wouldn't be a bad shout on a six month deal as cover for baines. apart from that would like bentley on loan but just can't see spurs lettin him go to a rival club on loan, more likely to sell.
  15. good cross by hibbert for felli's goal!
  16. think senderos will be a decent buy but only on loan til end of season just to prove he's still got it
  17. how on earth people thought baines was m.o.m just baffles me as i don't think he found an everton player once with his passing. ok his crossing was good and his defending good aswell but his passing was awful. it just shows t me how fickle everton fans are sometimes as when hibbert makes a poor pass u can hear the moans from the crowd however baines never got one moan yesterday! also why doesn't he pass to billy when he plays on the left with him? for me anyway felliani was superb in the holding role i think he is really starting to come on in the past few games and hopefully becoming the player we bought him for. i can imagine him doing a good job in that role once we have arteta, pienaar, billy, and cahill all in midfield
  18. think it was distin who fucked up for the 2nd goal not yobo, thought he was a bit shaky today distin
  19. i was really suprised with fellaini today looked much better playing deeper.probably his best performance so far this season!
  20. not a chance only a few months ago he was saying he's the happiest he's ever been in his life getting married and settling down etc. on top of that nobody would pay the money until he proves himself again as moyes wouldn't sell him for less than we paid. why would redknapp pay 12 million for a striker who then goes missing for a month to africa?
  21. i understand you defending moyes but all i'm saying is he deserves critiscism too. ok he could only buy when lescott was sold but he should have had those transfers tied up long before selling lescott as thats what happens in football (i.e tapping agents up etc.) at the end of the day we have alot of injuries but the 1st team is much better off than it was in the last 3rd of last season when we had yak, jags, artetA, anichebe, saha out. the only players out of the current injured players who would get in the 1st team are arteta and jagielka anyway and altough they are major players we should be able to defeat wolves, stoke, hull etc without two.not winning in these games has largely in my opinion been down to moyes' tactics
  22. think we defo need some speed in the side as we are very slow! can't c us having any money though so can c it being a couple of loan signings. cue the manny fernandes threads again!
  23. http://i50.tinypic.com/dxzk9e.jpg why is fellaini left mid
  24. the reserves have been similar to the 1st team this year, really inconsistent! however they have had to contend most of the season with virtually an entire youth squad so its a good learning curve for the young lads. out of the new lads arnoux has looked the most impressive scoring twice and looking fairly dangerous whenever he has played. he looks like a pacy striker who likes to run with the ball. mustafi has mainly played for the u-18s this season but has played for the reserves mainly at right back, he looks like a good prospect but it will be a few years before he's near the first team. peterlin from what i've seen has struggled slightly with the pace of english football however this can be expected playing centre mid, i'm not sure he will make at premier league level though. other ressie players who have impressed are luke garbutt who we signed from leeds for what could eventually be £1.5 million at left back, shane duffy has been almost ever present at centre half and looks a real prospect as he's only 18, hope akpan in midfield looks a decent busy player and kieran agard upfront has been catching alot of attention. then you have the likes of baxter, wallace, coleman, along with duffy and agard who have featured on the bench often for the 1st team this season which all in all looks for a decent future for our homegrown players
