  1. If Everton fans are talking about the Derby at the moment, it is because it is our second home game of the season. For fucks sake redcard its not rocket science. Then again a derby to you is probably oslo versus viking stavanger. Why is it, even when Liverpool win something, your fans are more obsessed with rubbing everyone elses noses in it, than celebrating your own teams success. Its unhealthy.
  2. We're assuming that Bellamy will be playing for the shite and not be banged up at her majesty's pleasure for assaulting a girl in a nightclub. Sureley if Duncan was banged up for something that happened on the pitch then this is an open and shut case. If they buy Pennant they can both run round with matching tags on.
  3. Found out on BBC Sport today that Nick Dougherty is a Man U fan. Gone right off him now, I'll have to pin all my hopes on Monty.
  4. Like everything to do with FIFA this smacks of farce. The world cup was crap cos FIFA were scared to get tough with cheating, diving players with big names and reputations. Football is becoming crap because its not a hard game anymore but an entertainment business. The off-side rule, nuff said. Until someone gets rid of that knob Sepp Blatter things like this will continue to happen. FIFA will continue to interfere and tell us all that they know best. Football is now a sport were the vast majority at the bottom (ie. the fans) have got a much bigger knowledge than the management at the top. How Matterazi can be punished for something that the other 21 players on the pitch all probably took part in over the ninety minutes is beyond me. Verbals go on in kids football and kids have got the nouse to just laugh them off. What sort of a mad, politically correct world are we living in. (Oh yes and giving Zidane a three match ban when he's retired from football and a three grand fine when he's a multi millionaire, makes the British judicial system look strict.)
  5. All those strikers put together haven't scored as many as Ruud. Amazed no prem clubs have come in for him.
  6. From the outside looking in I think the Villa fans are a little harsh on poor deadly doug. For many years he's bank rolled that team and they have, lets be honest, bought some absolute shite. It seems its only recently that money has become a bit tight and this is in common with numerous teams in the prem. O'Leary has proved that without billions to spend, then he's fairly limited as a manager and also has a propensity for blaming everybody else for his own failures. Good news for Villa.
  7. Like any of our players would take a step down to a little toy town club like that anyway. It wasn't that long ago that they were in the old second division getting crowds of 10,000. Come on Lillestrom, knock em out of the Intertoto and make them all cry into their glasses of Newky brown ......again. I give Roeder till Christmas and if they haven't got the league sewn up by then, they'll all be crying for his head.
  8. Just read this on newsnow. It is a critique on possible signings for the barcodes and which of our players they might deign good enough to take of our hands. This says it all about the skunks. They really are imbued with a false sense of importance in the general scheme of things. I can think of only one player in their team that might make our bench and that's the goalie. This attitude of "we're one of the big boys who should be winning things every year," which is based on a championship win when Jackie Milburn was the finest striker in the land, is why they will always be a laughing stock. Fickle, fickle, fickle fans with no knowledge of the game. http://www.newcastle-online.com/newcastlen...t=&go=headlines
  9. Surely if Newcastle aren't top of the league by Christmas those great barcode fans will be calling for Roeder's head. After all they are so used to winning everything in sight, second just won't do.
  10. Ever since Hans Segers was found to be less than honest, the Shite have taken great delight in casting doubt on the validity of the result of the Wimbledon game that kept us up. However in light of the fact that AC Milan have been found guilty of match fixing, does this now account in some way for the crazy ten minutes in Istanbul where supposedly one of the best defensive sides in Europe fell apart. After all, the odds at half time on an AC Milan loss must have been relatively high and anyone wagering a few bob would have cleaned up. Food for thought.
