The thing that bothers me the most with Forest's punishment is that their overspend (almost double ours) did actually give them a sporting advantage and they somehow received a smaller punishment than our original one of 10 points and then even had it reduced.
These panels are as much of a joke as the PL.

It's only a point that kind of point can galvenise a team. Nothing pretty about it but pure effort. Say what you want about Dyche but we weren't getting half of that commitment from previous managers.

Didn't the same thing happen with Dele?

He's scored no goals at previous clubs. Rumour has it that his Italian coach declared "There must-a be-a no hann-a ball in-a the penalty box-a" and he took it too literally. Well, meybri it's true.

Dyche himself will be disappointed with Wolves results and performances and I am sure he will be as critical of himself as he will be of any of the individual player performances.
He rightly put the Wolves performance in the same bracket as the Villa performance - so he's not glossing over it with any kind of bullshit. 
The Villa game was at the end of August and over 20 games ago. A notibley poor performance every 20games or so it pretty good going considering the past two seasons, over which time we struggles to put more than one good performance in every 20 games!!
Our expectcation have now very much changed under Dyche.

I try hard to be vegetarian but it’s hard, I really miss some meats, like Orangutan. I can never turn that down, I mean it tastes absolutely disgusting but I hate those bastards so there’s a principle involved. So I normally just have a little bite, you know. Chuck the rest of its arm in the bin.

Don’t get me wrong @StevO, I don’t mean to hate on the ToffeeTV lads. I’ve got a lot of respect for them. I think they’ve done really well with their channel.
But I think they’re still plenty of room for improvement. And that’s what I was trying to highlight.
They’ve obviously got ambition to grow the channel but they are in the entertainment business after all. And to be successful in the entertainment business, you have to engage an audience.
Good luck to them.

Contrast this guy with the toffee TV video posted on the other thread. He’s much more engaging. No pauses mid sentence, lots of hand gestures and changes in vocal pitch for emphasis. 

I think the other guy a little more eloquent.
I can’t remember their names but I think the ginger one is Ped. To be fair he’s comfortable in front of the camera, but going of that video at least, he’d do much better to script those kind of videos and read from a prompter than just wing it off the top of his head. Or at least have some notes about what points he wants to make.
His pausing mid-sentence while he thinks about what to say next makes it hard for the listener to engage.

Theres no guarantee Coleman will come back and be able to perform. The man is incredible in how many times he been written off but still delivered.
No doubt he should be ahead of Young but it would break my heart watching Coleman get torn to shreds each week like Young is.

Both for the yellow card and the pen he goes for the tackle after the ball has already gone. He’s just not got the reaction time to play at this level anymore it seems.

I'm not worried about the season, I think this'll fuel an already emotive fan base even further. Europe here we come. 

Martinez' first season was so good and exciting because we were solid at the back and then we'd murder teams on the break. We weren't dominating games by any stretch of the imagination.
Then in the second and third season our football became very sterile and sanitised. It was boring watching us pass it round at the back, go nowhere, lose it and then concede. We were neither exciting or solid. We were shite.
Personally, I was happy with the football on show in the early parts of the season despite the results. I could see huge improvement in every aspect of our play from the previous season, and it wasn't anything to do with having more of the ball really. We were looking to win games rather than just not lose them. The results weren't there but the method was and we just needed to stick with it and it did eventually come to pass.
Are we seeing less of the ball than I'd like in some games? Yes. I wasn't annoyed by it in the games against Arsenal, the shite and Brighton because those sides are miles better than us. That's a fact. It did get to me a bit against Palace but we got the result. And after the game Dyche said he wanted us to play better than that and he believes we can and will do. It's not like he's just accepting that that's the way things are going to be. He can see what we can and he wants better too.
I really don't see the problem. We've shown we can play and we've shown that we can grind results out as well. We're not going to go about things the same way every time and we're going to keep progressing, what we see now is not the end game.

Fuck changing the style. I like it, it’s rough and horrible and fast and direct. No one will enjoy playing against us. Siege mentality on the pitch and in the stands will do me nicely.

I was hoping to be around the 15 point mark now, and you could say that we are there. Also, those glimpses we were seeing backing then have matured into much better overall performances.
As for whether the season is going to be another long one, it doesn’t seem that way at the moment.
On the basis of the games so far, I think we can realistically be hoping to be top of the league come on the end of the season. Top of the bottom half that is. A solid mid-table 11th is a realistic target I think for us this season.
We still need to improve but I think the potential is there.
We really shouldn’t be anywhere near the relegation battle this year; we’re a much better team this season than we have been recently.
