    Dissapointed with that bench.
  6. Hopefully I'd love to see more of him, but I never hav faith in these players, I never even had faith in Barkley
  7. 20 million is a joke I agree, however physically, yes he has peaked, mentally he is nowhere near.
  8. Why does everyone show much faith in him? He's nearly 22 with like 2 appearances for us and not much loan time to write home about. Another Baxter.

Its the age old mistake of signing someone who is freakishly elevated and have the naivety of believing they will score goals in the EPL because of their height. i.e. Zigic.
  10. Inflation is always going to happen, but £90m is a hell of a lot of money.
  11. No idea, all TV rights have been boosted in price so clubs are getting a massive pay out. I would expect us to pay off a chunk of a debt before anything though. On top of that we've got the Europa League money too, however I dont think that actually equates to much unless you win the thing.
  12. Just saying what has been rumoured, not that I agree with it. I'd doubt he'd be sold for £15m either. Maybe Remy is a better option.
  13. TV rights. From Overseas TV rights Each club gets £31m each. From Domestic TV Rights Each club get £22m each. Merit payment (Everton get £17m for 5th). Plus £721,000 per live game (Everton get £15m). BBC MOTD Each club gets £3m. Internet/Mobile Each Club gets £500,000. Making a total of about £89m. (This is an approximate total)
  14. To be honest I always think he's been over rated (good goal against united a couple seasons ago though) wouldnt take him back. I'd like to see Roberto get a large chunk of this £90m and the left overs from the last window to secure a few players to depthen the squad. We need to bring in 7-8 players IMO as 3 are leaving us and we need to have depth for Europe. Quantity over quality right now as realistically how much of a budget are we going to get?! Hopefully we can sign Barry on a free for reduced wages, Delu on another loan for the season and Lescott on a free too. That gets rid of 3 worries without having to break the bank (unless Barry refuses to take much of a pay cut). We need to spend the most on a seasoned striker too, Wilfred Bony comes to mind but is he going to cost us £15m? Or even Remy, who cost QPR £8m? I think we should expect quanitiy over quality this summer.
  15. Hull 0 - 1 Everton Naismith
  16. Stones agent is being a bit of an arsehole though isnt he? Hope we can get him tied down on a decent contract. Mirallas needs one too, I believe he's only got two years left on his currently one, hope he dosnt think he's bigger than the squad and demand mega-bucks. Nobody deserves a new deal more than Naismith and Barkley, who the latter only has a year and a half left I think, so get it tied down sooner rather than later! As for McCarthey? He's only into a year of his current contract which was described as a "long term" one. Lets not throw money away.
  17. Aye, but play 15-20 games a season for ~£100,000 or 40 for ~£50,000? You know what most football players would do, unfortunetly.
  18. Would love to see Ince come here and develope his football at Goodison. Not too sure about Colback though, and definetly not Lukaku.
  19. James McCarthey, Alcaraz, Kone, Robles? Granted the latter was on loan but still played in the relegation fight for Wigan. There are some good players down there looking for to get at a better team and if you put them in a better team, they will play better football.
  20. IMO I think we would benefit more if we purchased 1 decent ST rather than two, simply because we have Naismith, Kone (if he ever gets fit) and Mirallas as cover and possibly even Delu~ to play there in a worst case scenario, and if we secure another loan stint for him. I mean, thats three people who can cover the position without complicating things too much. Strikers are expensive bits of kit! Lets try to spend 10-15 mil on one, rather than two average strikers for a combined price. We also really need an attack minded CM what would cost a few quid too, and on top of that, either Gareth Barry or a similar player to him. Personally, I think he's keen to join, its just how much wage is he willing to drop, although if he dosnt, who else is going to pay him mega money at 33? Arsenal? Doubt it. He's only got 1 or 2 more years at this level. Signing 7 players is a hell of a lot of money, I'd expect another 3 or so loans, and a couple of free transfers. I really cant see us actually purchasing any more than 2 or 3 players (minus low priced youth players), especially as RM knows we need to sign a potential world beater up top! It's going to be the best summer window we've had in years though, mark my words!
  21. I posted a couple of days ago what everyones preference would be on the situation, and I dont think anyone else wanted anything than to beat City, even if that means consiquently that Liverpool win the league. Hopefully Everton can beat City and Liverpool will lose their remaining two games
  22. Lets not forget Stones penno in pre season :shaking fist:
