Louis
I've been playing Super Mario World on SNES recently and I have to say it's just as good as I remember it, a truly fantastic game.

zequist
I remember when the SNES was new on the market. I held out for a long time because I was still enjoying my NES. What finally convinced me to buy one was when they announced that Street Fighter II would be coming out for it, and not for the NES. I was obsessed with that game in the arcade - don't know how many times I got my weekly allowance and went straight down to the pizza parlor to spend the whole thing playing SFII - so of course I absolutely had to buy it. In fact, I was so eager to get my hands on it that I actually bought my SFII cartridge almost two months before I bought the console! Lots of great games, though. Mario World was excellent, Final Fantasy VI/III (a standout in that series), Link to the Past (still for my money the most perfect Zelda game they ever made), Super Metroid, Super Mario Kart, Starfox, F-Zero, the list goes on... Don't need an emulator, though, I still have my original.

I completed it originally on the Snes then completed it again on a snes emulater. Also have a Spectrum one as well and play a game called Striker on there which was great along with Wheelie and manic minor. Also like Mario Kart on the Snes and looking forward to the new one on the WII
