i would love to get robbie keane and the £4m they are quoting would be an absolute bargain, but im worried that someone esle will nab him at the last minute, newcastle or boro spring to mind. we have let it drag too long and made it all to public long before we are going to do business leaving him open to be snatched.

why o why did we not buy these players when we had champs league to offer, instaed now we have a relegation fight to offer!?

Everton target Keane wants Liverpool move

Everton target Robbie Keane is keen on a move to Merseyside rivals Liverpool.

The Tottenham striker wants guaranteed first team football and knows he is only regarded as an understudy to Jermain Defoe by boss Martin Jol.

The Daily Star Sunday says Keane would jump at the chance to help solve Liverpool's scoring problems in January.

Everton are closing in on the signing of Robbie Keane in January.

Moyes has been interested in Keane ever since he joined Everton, back in 2001.

Spurs are set to let Keane go after rows about his future at White Hart Lane, and with Robbie wanting first team football, Everton have took the chance to get their man.

Moyes is looking for a striker to turn around their troubles of being at the wrong end of the table and with only 4 goals scored all season, Moyes has tempted Keane into coming to Goodison.

Everton who have been hit with injuries have the worst scoring record in the premiership and with only Beattie and Bent fit, its quite a problem.

Keane is interested in joining Everton, where he knows a place in the squad is waiting for him, however this would mean a wage cut could also be on the cards.

Moyes and Kenwright are now waiting for the transfer window to open to get their 3million pound Irishman, before other clubs swoop in.
