beattiebabes
who would be your team for the match verses Sunderland: Wright Hibbert Weir Stubbs Valente Cahill Arteta Neville (give him another chance) Osman McFadden Beattie Get rid of kilbane...He aint worth the wages we pay him
Zed
That would be my team as well, fitness provailing, but thats our starting eleven anyway. No uprises there but, come on, get off Kilbane back, we lost a game and it wasnt his fault
beattiebabes
im just not happy with the amount of fouls he commited and how many balls he gave away. We definitely missed Arteta. Hope he doesnt get injured again, cos he is our key player
Bill
Perhaps its time to give Turner a game, also bring Joey back in for Weir. .................................Turner................................ Hibbert............Yobo.................Stubbs.........Valente Osman............Cahill.................Neville..........Arteta ..........................Beattie........Mc Fadden................ subs........Wright..Naysmith..Kilbane..Weir..Carsley. beattiebabes
i dont know whether i would swap turner for wright. however maybe your right... i never have had much faith in wright if martyn retires then i think we may need to buy a new keeper maybe cudicini if chelski will let him go
The Beard
i totaly agree with your original starting line up except for wright. put turner in goal. i think a goalkeeper is what we need to focus on in the summer transfer market. agree? btw, who is goin game on sat? Zed
Im going I like the idea of putting yobo in, but you know what moyes is like
beattiebabes
who would u swap 4 yobo though. our defence was doing so well before the reds??? the only person i think he could take the position of is Valente because Hibbert, Weir and Stubbs have really carried the team in the last few weeks!!! The Beard
honestly, i would replace weir. sorry
beattiebabes
Good Man- I agree- i dont think he is quite the nsame player in his old age. He is getting a bit to old to handle the defence
FairWooney
Weir out yobo in. other that were fine. i wouldn't mind seeing turner in for wright but it's unlikely to happen. i'd like to see anichoebe on the bench, ferguson left out. sunderland is a game we should easily win. though they've still been losing they haven't been getting stuffed so it could be resonably tough. however i we can get a 2-0 lead early on i'd replace mcfadden with anichoebe to give him valuable experience and to let moyes know what potential he's got for making the first team along side beattie. The Beard
in all honesty, i think we will win comfortably. im goin to the game and im a lucky charm for the boys in blue!! lol
Raccyboy
i'd like to see anichoebe on the bench, ferguson left out. agree 100%.....we've got a relatively easy run-in (barring the chelsea game) and we certainly seem to be heading for 8-10th place. I think giving any promising youngsters a chance at this stage would be the right thing to do...a) a we need to see what that can do, and b, we need to reward them for their efforts --- otherwise they will end up leaving with neither us nor them knowing what they could have offered the club... ross
WHY SLAG OFF BIG DUNC, WHEN HE GETS SO ANGRY WHEN THE TEAM ARNT PLAYIN SO WELL IT SHOWS HIS PASSION FOR THE CLUB WHICH IS A LOT LESS THAN OTHER PLAYERS IN OTHER TEAMS SHOW!! IF YOU DONT GET GOOSE BUMPS WHEN FERGUSON IS COMING ON THERS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOU, HES THE HEART OF Everton AND HELPS ALL THE YOUNGE UP AM COMING PLAYERS SETTLE DOWN! YOU WONT BE SLAGGING HIM OFF IF HE HAD SCORED THE WINNER IN THE DERBY WOULD YOU? RANT OVER
beattiebabes
just feel that he needs to start staying on the pitch long enough to score he would be great if he scored more frequently then we would all be 110% behind him. there is passion and then there is just plain asking to be sent off which last time ended up with him getting a 7 match ban, which didnt help the team at all. he is still a fantastic striker, but with refs starting to stamp out his style of play he seems to be afding. i feel that it why we went out of the champions league because collina was focusing on him!!! Bill
Ross said...............WHY SLAG OFF BIG DUNC. ....................................... DUNCAN FERGUSON. Appearances this season.....6 starts plus 14 as a sub. Goals ..None. Thats been the case throughout his career, never played enough games(suspensions & injurys) and never scored enough goals. Over the two periods at EFC his career average playing record, works out at 16 games per season and 6 goals per season. And dont forget he was our biggest wage earner for the last five years. Legend my Arse. When you look back in twenty years time and somebody mentions Duncan Ferguson, you,ll think to yourself "What a waster" . beattiebabes
hes aint great as you said, but he is still another option as someone we can have on the bench to try and score a goal in the last few minutes.
scouse
Agree with lickers team tho prob have Sander in goal and Fergy on the bench otherwise no striking options
Bill
Sanders gone back it was only a months loan, Turner was on the bench last week.

Gwlad all over
I'd risk Turner in goal. Dfinitely agree with Raccy's earlier comment that we should give youngsters a chance to prove themselves in the blue shirt. Otherwise they leave and become a success elsewhere. Let's face it Hibbo and Ossie had to break into the team once!
thebluenose
if injuries dont occour then the team really picks itself however id play turner coz ive had enough of wright and weir is too slow so have yobo back in -----------turner------------ hibbo----yobo---stubbs----valente arteta----neville----cahill----ossie -----------faddy-----BT-----------
