Adam
Just read that Tim Howard is joining us on loan for a season. He asked for a move. Don't know if there is an option of a perm move but if true must mean the end of Richard Wright. Howard, Turner, Martin, Ruddy

Mac
You can not be serious, cloud, fishman and bluenose. Howard is proven at the highest level, to throw a keeper in, who can't judge a backpass, is foolish in the extreme when we have the opportunity to have an experienced keeper in the position. EVA
Manchester United goalkeeper Tim Howard is set to join Everton on a 12-month loan next season. The American stopper, 26, signed from New York Metro Stars for ?.3million in July 2003 and at one stage looked like being the new Peter Schmeichel. Howard was the regular No 1 in his début campaign but last season he shared the job with Roy Carroll, and has since lost his place to Edwin van der Sar. This season he has made just five cup appearances and did not feature at all in the Premiership. It is understood Howard asked for the move to revive his career, and he is now expected to leapfrog Nigel Martyn and Richard Wright into Everton's first team. source: http://www.tribalfootball.com/april/englinews1270406.html

ATB Mac <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agree totally, ideally you bring a young keeper on gradually and not throw them in at the deep end. Decent keepers can be ruined by using them to soon. A loan for Howard with first option to buy would be a good deal.
