MikeO
Jim I'll fix it, a pure stab in the dark mate You're in roughly the right time slot Jim, but the one I'm looking for started ten years after Jim'll Fix It, and ran for another nine years after Savile was cancelled. MikeO
Connection between Saturday night TV and the Everton/ManU semi-final....with a bonus point for the link to a prominent member of TT. Just thought I'd stick the answer to this up as the quiz section's in use again....and I know there are many who are desperate to know it . It was Tiverton....town in Devon where (most famously) I used to live . Scene of a Blind Date wedding in 1994 (http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/blind-date-wedding-1392217.html and home of Tiverton Town FC who Ben Foster played sixteen games for in a loan spell in 2002/3 (http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11701_2253035,00.html). Link to a TT member was the Regulator, who has the same name in real life (Martyn Rogers) as the Tiverton manager .
