Guest efctaxi
http://www.footylatest.com/mourinho-turned...-from-man-city/ Mourinho turned down £11m a year offer from Man CityMay - 16 - 2009 The Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho has one more year on his contract with the Italian champions, with an option for one more year afterwards, but that hasn’t stopped Man City making an offer to bring him back to the Premier League. The Portugese paper Abola understands that Man City have made him an offer of €12m euros (about £11m) to take the Portugese coach to the Eastlands, which would make him the highest paid manager in the world. It would even put him in the highest earners if you include players as well. The Inter striker Ibrahimovic, who is often lauded as the best striker in the world, only earns 11m euros (around £10m), and players like John Terry and Frank Lampard earn around £7m. Abola reports that Mourinho has turned the offer down as he is trying to build an Inter team that is capable of winning the Champions League. dark
Good for him!! Many people would turn to Manchester City once that money was offered but I now have even more respect for him now that he turned that offer down. He was already a great man but this has just shown that he is commited to his teams. Internazionale will be a force within the next few years under him, they have the stars it's just the chemistry that's needed. IMO he would do well anywhere, Accrington would be a force in the CL with him at the helm - he'd definatly turn them around. Nearly as good as Moyes And I guess this isn't good news for Mark Hughes (sorry for it rhyming :happystrange: )

Guest efctaxi
No, I highly doubt moyes would go City Suppose City gave Everton £100 million compensation , and Davey thought it would be best for Everton ?

jamiemaher85
Hughes wont be leaving City yet so this is a non-starter for me. One thing I love in that article is when they talk about Zlatan ONLY earing £10m. Christ. It must be really hard for him, only £10m. Thats barely enough to gold-plate his shit every day.
