GoldfishMemory
I thought he was on the pitch after the final game, it looked like him anyway. Apparently the deal is done but again we are waiting for the window to open.

Scott Spencer <{POST_SNAPBACK}> icant c why every1 loves Johnson so much...really cant 1. Nolan 2. Arca 3. Lescott 4. Jerome 5. Another CB if yobo leaves 6. Gera i dnt htink we cud even afford them, but still that would do me.... id be made up with nolan, id go get his name on my shirt, arca is sheer top notch, lescott well we need a CB and he seems to have promise, jerome - young, quick, scored plenty in championship, and gera for squad really.... i also think cahill should be turned into somewhat of a striker and/or benched, he isnt good enough as a center midfielder and if we were to sign nolan .... its no competition is it really nolan is far far better in midfield

Adam
No to Chris Sutton. If this is meant to be top 10 signings shows how far down we have when we looking at average signings as best signings
CraccerC
^ nolan and arca are far better than average signings ... and others we have to work within our budget, pick off bargains... i bet msot peopel thought darren bent was an average signing, proved them wrong
L_Blue
How does Anderson De silva get on that list none of us have seen him play and when we checked out his stats he seemed to be doing pretty crappy especially since he is at Spain's bottom league club

Rob W
talking of Darren Bent, why not make a cheeky bid for him this summer, Charlton have lost Curbishley, dont seem to be going anywhere, maybe Bents thinking that being at a small club cost him a world cup place and would want to move. must be worth £6m i would say, similar to AJ

Finn balor
Depending on how we can structure the deals i.e fee over the length of the players contracts i'd go for realistically speaking: 1. Andy Johnson 2.David Nugent 3.Jolean Lescott 4.Leighton Baines 5.Jermaine Pennant 6.Jason Roberts 7.Wayne Routledge 8.Fitz Hall 9.Gary Cahill (Villa and out of contract) 10.Wright-Phillips (year loan)

Finn balor
I noticed him playing in the youth cup final for a very good Villa team. Obviously he is only a baby so he is nowhere near the finished article but with turning down Villa's wage offer we could nip in. I think we have to follow Spurs lead and get these young players when we can afford them. I'm sorry to offend Craccerc with my list he is obviously a true spotter of talent and knows far more than the rest of us beacuse he can randomly call proffesional footballers "shite" when he has probably never even watched them for more than 90 minutes.
