GoldfishMemory
What use is a player with 12 goals to his name in the french league? I would be a top player in france the domestic football over there is like our championship

GoldfishMemory
12 in 2128 in 30 not a bad record <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok so i was judging on a 40 or so game season still Belgian & French football is extreamly lightweight!

StevO
ok the french league aint got all the best players in the world, but dont forget some of the best players in the past decade played there. just a few at the moment Tierry Henry Zidane Vieira Essien Trezeguet oh and lets not forget Ronaldinho! im not sayin hes in the same class, but the french league deseerve some credit! Pat
The entire Senegal Team that suprised @ last World cup was made solely from players working in France. Malbranque & a few others have adapted to the ways here fine. Many African players have played in or further learnt the trade in France. Still "ALL HAIL ZOLTAN" has a better ring to it..!!! GoldfishMemory
2 words mikel mader or whatever his name was <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Off topic a bit but does anyone remember how short his legs were in proportion to the rest of hid body? Something me and my mates used to laugh at all the time there was no gap between his shorts and socks and he had a realy long body! Was at West Ham when he scored with a diving header and the traitor Barmby got the other we won 2-1 and i think that was when West Ham got relagated. Possibly the worst striker i'v seen in a blue shirt jigsaw was better. ok the french league aint got all the best players in the world, but dont forget some of the best players in the past decade played there. just a few at the momentTierry Henry Zidane Vieira Essien Trezeguet oh and lets not forget Ronaldinho! im not sayin hes in the same class, but the french league deseerve some credit! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I take your point StevO but non of them played in france for very long, all the best get out while they're still young, this kid chose to go there! I'l reserve judgement anyway as i know very little about the player just passing an opinion.
CraccerC
^ not really essien was there for a while, zidane wasnt great till he was like 23 or somethin .. ronaldinho chose to go there ... and trezeguet is overrated anyway
Adam
Sounds to me like the agent is trying to get a move for his player to either get more money or to give the agent some money. http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?HLID=38...ball_Home&f=rss
