MikeO
What's it like where you are? About six inches here and still snowing. Hope it clears enough for the airports to be open on Friday though.....'cos we're flying to the...er...snow .
Romey 1878
It's not snowing here now but the roads are really bad and all the local schools are closed.

Jimmy the blue
Its about 75of, solar heat rays are starting to warm the old skin, I've a shangria with lots of ice, the scent of summer flowers on the warm breeze with hint of a barbie being warmed up in the background and I'm sleep typing shit

evilweevil666
I love how like half of England has just shut down. I had 20 inches a while back and nothing really happened.
holystove
I love how like half of England has just shut down. I had 20 inches a while back and nothing really happened. Snowed Saturday night here. If it snows one more night we'll run out of salt .. how's that for shutting down . Time to go back to Copenhagen. Bill
Snowed again last night and is likely to go on for most of the day, another 3 inches expected. On top of that its Minus 5 at the moment.
Jimmy the blue
Got up this morning to find we had no water and the combi boiler was not working. A hair drier on the mains pipe at point of entry solved that one, after a load of pissing around I eventually got to speak with a plumber who told how to drain the boiler, it is under warranty but the makers couldn't get to us in the next week ffs
Ian C
All schools closed here until next thursday. Handy that
evilweevil666
Right, but the majority of this is happening because most people aren't prepared for a large snow. The conditions aren't really that bad.

MikeO
Dodged the snow and ice enough to get our flight out to the South of France on Friday.....but heavy snow there Friday night/all day Saturday meant we couldn't get to the snow in the mountains . It cleared enough to get our flight back today, just in time for the 20cm forecast for tomorrow . Oh well.
