Bill
The Government has refused proper health care to many elderly citizens due to their advancing years. It is a worrying problem for many but help is at hand. New Elderly Care Programme.... Join the new free care plan today. If you are 65 years or older, you can apply. All new members will receive a gun and four bullets. You are allowed to shoot one MP (two if you live in England), one MSP, one councillor and just to be sure of a long sentence, someone you really don't like and think the world could do without. As part of the plan, you will leave enough evidence to make sure you are caught and in due course will be sent to prison. There you will get a safe central heated environment, three meals a day, lots of company, free TV and an assortment of games plus - most importantly - all the health care you need! New teeth needed? No problem. New glasses? They'll be provided. New hip, knees, kidney, lung, heart?* They're all covered too. And who will pay for all of this? The same government that told you they cannot afford your current health care. And as an added bonus, because you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay income tax anymore. BRITAIN. A GREAT country or what?
Bailey
The depressing part of this is that no matter who we vote in come election time will actually make any difference at all... I really dont the logic of some of these people who make these types of decisions. When prisoners get more perks than the elderly and those on benefits earn more than those who put in a hard weeks shift you know that something is going wrong, yet no-one in power can realise this?! Pathetic

You get a gun.......but instead of four expensive bullets, you get one. You load the gun and put it to your head.....pull trigger. That will save the goverment a hell of a lot of pension payments, you certainly won't need health care (unless you are a crap shot). The extra cash saved can then be given to our MP's for moat cleaning, dry rot treatment and lunch expenses! The bullets saved could be sent to Afganistan as a goodwill gesture, also meaning they could cut back a tad more on millitary funding......handy in case an MP or two needs a new patio. Great Britain?.......of course it is

Pathetic Of course they realise this! Getting money for doing fuck all is the basis of Socialism. The Tories won't do anything to change this either, the elite have got everyone where they want them, on their knees and dependent on the state. The whole Left/Right paradigm is put in place to make us think we have a say in this "democratic" society ( un-elected PM anyone?!!), but the reality is that the agenda is set long before we see any new faces in government. Sorry, rant over. hahaha i cant help myself sometimes.
CraccerC
to be fair i think it would be wrong to reverse things, prisoners deserve a chance of rehabilitation. it shouldn't be so unbalanced though, can't rely on charities like meals on wheels because people like me (and that's probably most) wouldn't even consider to give to meals on wheels...been asked to give money by them before and initially just said nah and walked away but then thought no actually i wanna talk about this i went back and asked for more information so i could give my proper reason, they're elderly people!
