The Beard
As it is a rather boring, wet, dull and dreary Bank Holiday (are there any others). I thought I would pose a connections question a la, Jimmy The Blue. Feel free to have a go or if your that bored like me, try and google the answer Anyway here goes, What connects a 20th Century British Prime Minister and a 1970 British quiz show? The Beard
Slight eror there. 1970's quiz show, that did run over into the 80's and has been revived in the noughties on Satellite channels.

The Beard
Right, I have changed my first name to Jimmy, my surname to Blue and my middle name is The. Now, will that prompt some guesses.

The Beard
Ok Clue time. "Live from Norwich, it's the quiz of the week" Although a decent guess from c1982 but incorrect in this instance. It is a connection rather like Jimmy The Blues used to be, so it ain't that obvious
MikeO
So we have "Sale of the Century." Nicholas Parsons. Born in Grantham I see after a quick scan....as was a certain Margaret Hilda Roberts (can't mention her married name as it sends me into anaphylactic shock). Is it that simple or is there more...went to school together perhaps? Hehe...found it..and I get an excuse to use the "spoiler" tags . His dad was Robert's parent's doctor! So maybe he delivered the antichrist? Could he not have strangled her at birth ? Good one!
