He's another American, I know. Just curious what the rest of you might think of bringing Buddle to Goodison.

He's in fantastic form currently for LA Galaxy. And rumor has it that Blackburn have their eyes on him. I'm mostly curious if anyone thinks he might be a good fit for our squad.

Been thinking this myself for a few months now as well. He was immense for LA last season as well, very near top scorer in the League. Got to think he's worth a punt if we could get him for <2mil.

That video either shows what his potential could be like or its another 'youtube makes a player look great'. Coz that video shows a tall, strong, quick, technicaly gifted, two footed player...who can score goals. Why has noone outside the US ever heard of him?? I like :)

Not sure about Buddle. I think he would be good if the ball can get handed to him in front of goal... He's scored some cracking goals, but I don't know how he'd handle PL. He did well at Ingolstadt when healthy (sp?).

I was just thinking that he would be the perfect solution to our problems.... not.

The guy has already been on trial with two other english clubs that are far worse then us (I can't remember which ones)

Also, I wasn't too impressed with him in the US.

He's got the same agent as Donovan and Howard plus Germany are on their winter break, so plenty of reasons why we'd take a look. If we don't fancy him nothing will come of it.

He is no better than the 3 strikers on the bench that don't get in ahead of Saha why bother. We need someone who will make a difference or trust in the players on the bench Saha is finished

Dunno, i like Denis' work rate, he actually pressures the defenders into making mistakes and our overall game improves too. Hes got good feet too, all he needs is a goal. Would be nice to keep them both in order to put more pressure on the other strikers.
