Romey 1878
39-5 . After all the hard work from our bowlers to get WI out cheaply they must want to throttle the batsmen. Regarding the boxing; it seems as though it was a bit of a let down with Mayweather comfortably winning and not really having to stretch himself to win. I'm glad I didn't pay for that. Romey 1878
Chelsea bore their way to the title... The stats would suggest otherwise. For most of the season they weren't boring at all. It's only been towards the end when they've ground it out and not been great to watch.

Nothing to do with the team or the manager; they won it because they have the most knowledgeable supporters obviously .

It's annoyed me that the likes of Wenger and Pellegrini have come out recently calling Chelsea boring. It's just sour grapes.

Romey 1878
Right now, it's a nail-biter. Have to go with the Windies, though. It'd have to be one hell of a collapse for them not to get the win now. They're well capable of that mind, but I doubt it'll happen.

MikeO
Three down now though... Knife edge now, we needed another one before tea and we got it. Could go either way, my money's on a tie .
MikeO
Just noticed the score in the world snooker final (by accident). Two overweight characterless English guys vying for the title; does anybody actually care any more? I certainly don't. I thought Barry Hearn was brought in to raise it's profile, failed dismally. Cornish Steve
Wow. Just seen a picture of Moeen Ali, with the - ahem - unusual beard. Does Tim Howard have a cousin who plays cricket for England? A little over 80 runs needed with 6 wicket left. Bravo to Bravo right now. Cornish Steve
Fewer than 50 runs needed now, still with 6 wickets left and still Bravo to Bravo. It took real effort to let the Windies get back into this game, but England's awful batting and inconsistent bowling strike again.

Lowensda
Spoke to one of our old boys today. Mr Lescott and family were walking through Alderley Edge so I said hi and asked how everything was going. He's a towering bloke, made far funnier by the fact he was pushing his youngest in a cheap stroller, hunched over whilst being barraged with questions.
