He left Melbourne Victory half way through the A League and now plays for PSV EIDENHOVEN. He is an ok player, nothing special. Doubt he would be up to EPL level by a long shot. I am an Everton fan, I am Aussie! Tim Cahill and partly the passion of Everton made me start following Everton. IM 22 from Sydney btw.. Hiddink signed basically as a keep fit/training ex in view of the Austrlian season finishing 2-3 mnths before the world cup & Thompson being 1 of the few local based players to be in the frame. Personal op- He's a Tad light weight, though does have a real go get em die hard streak. Great pace...but can be a bit Radsinzki in the finishing dept. Great mate o Cahill's I believe.
