Louis Posted December 1, 2011 Report Share Posted December 1, 2011 Everton invited to prestigious Dallas Cup in US Everton have been invited to the Dallas Cup Youth competition in the United States to be held next year in early April. The tournament is by invitation only and the blues impressed the organisers after winning the Premier Academy League in 2011. Everton will take part in the Gordon Jago Super Group which saw Barcelona, Arsenal, Tigres, Corinthians and Frankfurt take part in 2011. Previous teams in this ‘Super Group’ have sent over an Under 18 team with some older players, so it’s likely Everton will send over a similar squad, with the Premier League schedule sparse in April.
