madaboutalbion
Hi guys, very excited about coming up to goodison for the match tomorrow. sitting in the paddock in the away end, so fingers crossed ill have a good view, as i know its pretty much right in the corner! im hoping your progression in the FA cup means that the atmosphere will be buzzing and create a good vibe, and congrats on that, as i know for one id love to be going into a cup semi final, and who better than against your deal rivals! as for the game tomorrow, we've taken our foot of the gas a little lately, and its hard to see where we are going to really threaten you unless we come back off our holidays, but then again on our day we can threaten any team. hopefully long gets a start and really makes a nuisance of himself to your back 4. i was just wondering, what the best pubs are for away fans? and also i was thinking of crossing stanley park to have a look at anfield, how far is it to talk between the two grounds, surely not that far? havent been to liverpool before, so im just trying to fit the footballing sights in(if you call anfield a footballing site ) haha. all the best apart from tomorrow, hoping you make the final of the cup. MAA.
MikeO
But walk across the park rather than on the roads. Don't know about pubs....the only time I've been to Goodison with away fans we drank in a pub in Albert Dock before the game.

craigb
Hey mate, thanks for the post ! I like you guys, but i hope we get the points tomorrow ! I think the crowd will be buzzing, so a few empty seats of late may be taken up. As for anfield, its not a football site, its just a site ! haha Also there are many pubs around the ground etc, theres pubs on County Road, the main road in front of the ground, then there are two on Goodison Road, to be honest i don't know where the away fans drink as i use The black Horse or Royal Oak and there just filled with Everton fans... 99% of us are friendly so i wouldnt worry about staying clear of home fans, just drink anywhere that suits, and enjoy the game and Goodison ! Dalziel Kane
This should satisfy all the requirements of the original poster. Enjoy the experience and all. http://www.footballgroundguide.com/everton/
