First off, I am brand new to ToffeeTalk, although I have been a registered member at whenskiesaregrey.com for around the last 4 years, as well as being a season ticket holder in the upper main stand since 1981.

Anyway, I am the manager/organiser for FC:SSL, Football Club Speke South Liverpool. We are an an over sixteen's amateur charity football club based in South Liverpool. We are part of the Leisure Leagues, as well as playing many organised charity fixtures against charity teams, such as All3Media's Hollyoaks and Grange Hill squads.

FC:SSL is an authorised fund raiser for the worthy charity of The Imagine Appeal Fund, Alder Hey Children's Hospital, Liverpool. All of the funds raised at every one of our events goes towards their charity!

We are currently in the process of organising a Premiership Raffle 2006-2007 which Everton FC and Liverpool FC will be hopefully involved, as well as holding an organised 8-a-side tournament at Liverpool Hope University in September/October 2006. If anybody has any previous knowledge in the organisation of such events, any advice and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

We are currently looking for forward players for our club, as well as teams to train against, and get involved in the forthcoming tournament, although places for clubs entering the tournament are tight.

FC:SSL is kindly sponsored by Carolyn Hughes Public Relations (Liverpool), who cover all costs of our kits, training kits, equipment, etc...

We receive donations from several other companies and individuals, which depend on the amount of hits we have on our website. Basically put, the more web vistors we have in the next couple of months, the more our club, and player sponsors, donate to the club and to our main charity, Imagine.

Please visit, register, and keep revisiting (and raising money

Any feedback, advice, support, recommendations, etc, etc, etc is welcomed...

Many, many thanks,

Andy
