MikeO
Good performance from Jags tonight; and Ross looked good after he came on. Meanwhile, Portugal 0-2 Cape Verde Islands at half time .

rubecula
yes that is true, but it happens to every striker. I think he got into the right places.
johnh
Like Townsend he should have been aiming for the side netting, not a difficult skill for a pro footballer.
Cornish Steve
Jagielka and Barkley (together with Carrick) received the highest player ratings for the England game against Italy.

markjazzbassist
palace up 1-0 on man city! if they lose i'm sure pelligrini won't last through the summer. shame really, i think he's a good coach and likeable guy.
Cornish Steve
Reading manager comments after the game, you have to give credit to Pellegrini for being absolute class. Despite what appears to have been poor refereeing for the first Palace goal, he won't be drawn into it.

No nonsense kinda guy. I hope he gets a good job after man city.

Cornish Steve
Some interesting results so far today - and it will be even more interesting if Burnley can grab a point. Momentum is so important, and things are beginning to look very worrisome for Hull, Sunderland, and West Brom.

Cornish Steve
Tony Pulis is being found out, and I think West Brom will struggle to survive the drop. Their remaining games are tough: away to Palace, United, Newcastle, and Arsenal; home to Liverpool and Chelsea. Don't see many points there. Maybe their key game will be against Newcastle. And Sunderland and Hull are playing the worst of any teams in the league right now. There's hope for all three currently at the bottom. Hafnia
Made up with the result, Liverpool fans will be gutted as I think United are nailed on for top 4 and city will be too good not to get enought for champs league.

I'll repeat my prediction from a few weeks ago: Liverpool will fail to qualify for Europe and will not win the Cup.
