MC11
Out for 3-4 weeks with calf injury. Please don't being Browning back into the squad. Maybe Jags or Stones to move to Right back? Don't think that's in Martinez makeup though!

efc1111
It's worrying that there is no obvious cover for him, especially with the run of games we have this month. Mattione has returned injured from his loan at Doncaster so if we're seriously interested in Byram this may become apparent in the next few days, although it would be a massive step up for him. Not happy with the thought of Jags or Stones filling in at RB either. Edited January 7, 2016 by efc1111
Elston Gunnn
I'd guess Stones, but maybe Lennon, who started at RB once this season.
markjazzbassist
Pennington played a couple matches At RB for us. He's a Galloway a centre back that is getting RB time (I think, correct me If I'm wrong) so he could just stay home and defend and let Gerry do all the attacking. Also could see McCarthy, stones, Lennon there as well. Maybe Oviedo too if fit. Awful injury and person to lose. Seamus was really starting to come alive. markiediow
We need to buy cover now. I expect we were looking for a right back already, but this means we need it now. If Lukaku out as well, that mean the 2 position we have no real backup in will now be big problems. Hibbert and Kone starting for the next month is not good. Matt
I can see Stones being there with Jags about to come back Lowensda
Romey 1878
I can see Stones being there with Jags about to come back This was my thinking too. Martinez was going to have a problem with Jags coming back and Coleman's injury means that he can delay having to make a decision. MC11
We'd certainly be a lot tighter with all 3 at the back. It could be a blessing in disguise.

Hafnia
Is Hibbo fit? beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I would prefer it if he was more tanned if i'm honest. MikeO
MikeO
I hope not. I'd rather bring an U18 player in. He'd be OK for the D&R game though. Moving forward I tend to go along with shifting Stones out wide now Jags is back. Not ideal but probably the least worst option.

Yeah, Martinez said straight after the game he'd be out for 3 or 4 weeks (so probably 8 weeks ).

Romey 1878
I hope he's better at cradling his daughter than he showed in his celebration. He'd have dropped her on her head if he did it that way for real!

markjazzbassist
Would love to sell him in the summer and get a proper rb. He huffs and puffs up and down the line but his crossing is awful, and he doesn't link up with the winger well at all. Defensively he's ok but I'd like to cash in now and move on. One trick pony he cuts inside and takes a shot right inside the box. Does more harm to the wingers he plays with them benefit.

He's a top right back, who would you buy instead and for how much? MikeO
markjazzbassist
Are you having a laugh??? He's a top right back, who would you buy instead and for how much? Someone who can defend and link up with the winger. Coleman flatters to deceive, he's got what 1-2 goals this season? So overrated. Crossing is and has always been abysmal. Top rb? Put the bong down haf!

Crossing is and has always been abysmal. Top rb? Put the bong down haf! Most fullbacks end up with zero goals all season unless they are free kick or penno takers. 1 to 2 is pretty good. He is a very good player indeed and if he was up for sale clubs would come in at £12m plus no issue.
