Ticket and Transport questions

We should have a thread (and make it sticky) so that we can seperate match-day threads between threads about people just wanting to sell tickets or ask for transport help.

As for you Doon I don't like anywhere near Scotland so won't be able to help (and I'm unsure if we have any Scottish members) but I hope you end up finding some decent transport to get to the ground. I know there was something called a 'Soccerbus' but I think it stopped running a while ago so I've literally no idea what to suggest... you could Google it though and see if it still runs from Dundee.

Well thats a bit mean tongue.png

Changed the title as Zoo suggested, and its pinned.

edit: The OS has some details mate. Been a while since I used public transport in Liverpool but if you can get to Lime Street I reckon it should be easy to get to Goodison

Just checked the following for transport down from Scotland:

or drive it:

Good luck mate. Looks like I can get to Goodison from Switzerland quicker than you!

My tickets for the WBA match never arrived through the post. I phoned the box office and they told me they'll just reprint them for me on the day. I'm a bit stressed as this has never happened before, they're usually here after a couple of days. Have some friends over to go watch the match as well. Anyone had this happen before?

Sort of. Southampton game last season, 2 tickets, post office card through door 'item waiting for you at sorting office insufficient postage paid'. In meantime I had phoned to say not arrived and was told same as you "take the email confirmation and card you paid with to Bullens Rd box office on the day". I went to post office, not thinking EFC would be shy for 60p, and it was the tickets. EFC, "It must have missed the franking machine". This has probably happened to your tickets but your post office sorting office can't be arsed to push a card through asking you to go there and pay a quid to get your letter.

Just do what they say and take copy of email confirmation and card you paid with to the box office on the day - all will be alright!

It happened to me for the Real Betis game. If you go to the box office early it's not a problem but with their only being about 5 windows queues can get ridiculous. Get there early or you will probably miss a good chunk of the game.

I got some tickets for my dad last season and when they hadn't arrived a few days before the game I rung the ticket office. Unbeknown to me I had clicked the print your own option - simple as that just print them off. I'd check you haven't done that.

Haha that happened to me with the tickets for the Villa match last season so it was the first thing I checked this time!

Thanks all for the advice, I'll make sure I'll get there a couple of hours before KO.

The game in question was the Villa game for me too - may have been gremlins in the system that week!

Hello.

I'm André, from Lisboa, Portugal.

I support Everton FC since 1985, and Tonight I will finally achieve a dream (thanks to my wife) and I will be at Goodison to watch a game.

Just need to know a few spots around/near stadium with true and genuine Evertonians to have a few beers and talks before the game?

Many thanks,

Hello there ,

On 28 december ... the Southampton game , that's our target.

We're from Belgium , my daughter is a huge Romelu - fan.

Plane tickets are already booked, footballtickets ...26 november general sale.

No problems so far.

On 8 februari 2014 , i'm planning a Londen trip with 14 football team mates.

Veteran team . (from 35 y old till dead )

It's a Eurostar trip to London , visiting a game ...(what did you think , no girls aloud)

Spurs - Everton that day.

Is there any chance to see the game in the visiting area ?

Or is it always sold out when you're playing away from home ?

I promise i'll buy 14 everton scarves , mine is already OK.

Greetings,

Jurgen.

Hi all,

I am a London based Everton fan looking for some help and a massive favour!

This season, I set myself a challenge of attending a game in every round of the FA Cup. I started in the Prelim round at my local team, Leatherhead FC, who beat Tooting & Mitcham 1-0. I've then followed the winner of each game into the next round and been to their next FA Cup game. I've now been to 10 FA Cup games and visited some glamorous grounds en route, such as Binfield, Biggleswade Town, Stourbridge, Doncaster Rovers and Stevenage before getting up to Goodison for the last round against Swansea. Being an Everton fan, the R4 draw against Stevenage was brilliant as it does give me the chance to follow my team to the final!

Obviously, we are now at the business end and, ideally, I'd like to get myself a ticket in the Everton end for the QF game at Arsenal in a couple of weeks time. Due to Arsenal's decision to only give us a reduced allocation, I'd say it's pretty unlikely that any tickets will reach general sale so at the moment I don't have a chance of getting a ticket.

That's why I'm here. I would massively grateful if there was anybody here who has a spare ticket or 2 or knows of a spare ticket going anywhere or can get a spare ticket by some means or other! I am happy to discuss in more detail if you do so feel free to drop me a note and I'll obviously happily buy you a couple of pre-game beers or celebratory beers after the game if you can help me out.

Thanks for reading this anyway and I'll be cheering the boys on whether I'm there or not!

Cheers,

JB

Hello everyone

I'm from Cleethorpes and get to everton games as much as I can. I'm from near HULL and never ever been able to get tickets for an away game as not got a season ticket. I was wondering if anyone knows anyway I would be able to get 2 tickets to hull away last game off season. This would-be great and I'd finally get to see the blues away!!

Any ideas or links (local supporter coaches) for me and a mate traveling up from the midlands area to Sunderland.

We may drive it and stay in Newcastle but he may have to be back on the Saturday night so assessing other options.

Ta.

Just got tickets for the City game supposedly on 3rd May but it's still coming up as kick off "subject to change". At the moment all ten premier league games are scheduled for 3.00pm Saturday but that's not going to happen!

Just wondered if anyone knew when the TV companies are likely to announce what's going to be moved....seems short notice already.

(KO time/date won't affect me going but the supporters club coach is full so I need to book a hotel to avoid ten hours driving in a day.....and I don't know what night to book :()

Well I'm a fan from Northern Ireland and I was wondering when the Liverpool at Goodison tickets go on sale ? R anyone that is selling them? Need 2

They'll go on sale early January I'd have thought; unlikely to be many (if any) left by the time they go on general sale and they'll be restricted views. If you want to guarantee a seat you'd probably be best getting a Foreverton membership, then you get access to them three days up front. Costs £20 adult, £10 kid.

hey everyone. i am in the preliminary stages of planning a trip to london in april. (i live in new york)

i will be there when we face swansea at their home.

1. how difficult would it be to get to swansea for the match? i would like to just go there for the match and then head back to london.

2. how difficult will it be to get tickets and exactly how would i be able to get tickets?

thanks.

London to Swansea is easy, three hours each way on a train from Paddington.

Tickets would be the problem; our allocation for away games sells out (virtually) every time. Would probably be easier getting a "home" seat through Swansea, though obviously I'm not familiar with how their ticket office operates, you'd need to look into it.

If I stay overnight i tend to just use a Travelodge; there are several in and around Liverpool so I just go for the cheapest one. Quick look for the 19th and prices are ranging from £27 up £38 for central.

I normally use the Players Bar on County Road for a pre-game drink, but that's just habit, there are loads around. Lots of people use the Brick. Not sure what the Winslows like since it reopened but it was always too crowded for me before.

Hi guys could do with a bit of advice on what i need to do! i have ordered a ticket for sundays game and accidentally have ended up with a print at home ticket option but i have no printer! can i change it so i can collect my ticket at the ground?

I'd get on the phone to the box office in the morning, they open at 10.00; sure they'll be able to sort it for you to collect.

Can you not just go to a family member/friend with a printer, log onto your emails on their pc/laptop and print it there?

Failing that a public library will offer the service.

That's what I use at the moment if I need to print stuff; pissed off with buying printers where the ink costs as much your initial investment and then the bloody thing dries up if you don't use it for a few weeks.

Just thought on this occasion getting to a library in time might be an issue; are they open on Saturdays?

I buy my ink from Cartridge People. They do the compatible ink cartridges cheap as chips and they work perfectly.

Hi Guys,

Mike from the Netherlands here.

I had a really silly question.

Me and a mate are heading over to Liverpool in the weekend of the 24th of april and really wanted to visit the Everton- Manu game.

But the site says i need a "prior purchase history"...since we are from the other side of the ditch we dont have that.

Does anyone know a cheap ticket seller where we can buy tickets before the actual match day?

Many thanks for the reply!!

LIke Patto says you'll only get obstructed views now (they're not too bad, I've sat in them numerous times and it's not affected my experience) but they are on general sale now.

You shouldn't need a purchase history according to the site so I'm not sure why it's telling you that; maybe give them a ring after registering as suggested?

"Please complete your personal details in the fields below. On completion you will be mailed with a supporter number and password. In the meantime, if you would like to buy tickets immediately after registering, please call the ticket hotline on *0871 663 1878. All fields marked with a * are mandatory.

Once registered, you will be able to make online purchases."

Hey there,

I never was at Goodison Park cause I´m from Germany, but I´d really like to go there for the derby against LFC. I´m willing to become a Toffee-member, but could you tell me: is it likely at all that I´ll get a ticket then? Cause if the chances are about one to seven thousand three hundred and nine, I´ll prefer booking my holidays somewhere else ;)

Cheers

Steffen

According to the website you should should be OK with a Foreverton membership.

"This membership offers all the great benefits provided last year with an extended priority period which allows our members to buy tickets between three and five days before before they go on general sale. This means you can now guarantee you [sic] seat to all the big games against Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City."

Good luck.

And Stubhub is an Ebay owned company Btay, not used them myself but I'd do so without any worries.
