markjazzbassist
Jesus Mark it's one of the most prestigeous events in the golfing calender. Not a golf fan pad. When a fat ass like John daly is a pro making millions I don't consider it a sport worth following. Incredibly boring to watch and it takes forever. Matt
I used to think that before I played a few rounds. Instantly became addicted, but can't play over here really as it's far too expensive.

But Golf definitely takes the most boring tag to watch. markjazzbassist
Paddock
Cricket and golf are marvellous to play and watch. Mark just because he's fat doesn't mean he doesn't have bags of talent.
MC11
Golf is sound to watch from time to time. Cricket Is the most boring game ever. Matt
aaron
Snooker has to be up there with boring sports to watch, great to play, shit to watch. In fact throw darts into that as well.

I'll agree there, but I loved watching snooker especially when I was playing. Knowing how precise they are just makes me appreciate their skills even more
johnh
What is it about playing sport and watching. I used to enjoy a game of tennis, can't stand watching it. Never tried any of it but can't stand anything, sportswise, which is done on snow or ice.

Never tried any of it but can't stand anything, sportswise, which is done on snow or ice. That's how it is for me too. I'll play tennis, golf, pool, baseball, basketball, etc... but I can really only get into watching football and American football.
Lowensda
I can't watch any sports other than Football, Rugby and Ice Hockey. I will enjoy playing all sports, except Cricket (one of the worst 'games' in the history of sports) and possibly Golf (if you're not good at Golf, you're dreadfully shite). markjazzbassist
im with you J and Tonks, i'll play anything but watching is completely different. really just have time for football in terms of watching. 2 hours hard stop, no stops in play, I love it. meanwhile baseball and USA football games 3 hours going on 4 nowadays. MikeO
I'll watch most sports except snooker, ice skating, gymnastics, rugby league, bowls and anything with horse involvement; that's off the top of my head, there are probably a few others. Don't think ice hockey comes over too well on TV because of the speed and the small size of the puck, find it difficult to know what's happening, but I'm sure if I watched a live game it'd be great. I rarely have time to spend an entire afternoon watching American football anymore. I'll catch the Packers but they rarely play on TV down here and even when they do I only watch it minutes at a time. I watch more highlights than anything now. MikeO
I'd rather watch grass grow than spend 3+ hours watching baseball. Watching grass grow is potentially profitable, if a bit risky. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-39064526
Makis
I watched a baseball match once in Seattle and it was mind-numblingly boring. Fortunately I didn't have to pay for it.

Well their baseball team is terrible! What did you think of Seattle?
Makis
This was back in 2002 and I'm still scarred by the experience. Seattle wasn't too bad except that moving around was a bit of a drag. Went to the Boeing factory and it took ages to get back to downtown Seattle by bus. Seaside was nice, as was the market.
