Adams
Arsenal could dangle Theo Walcott under West Brom's nose in a bid to prise £8million-rated centre-back Curtis Davies from their grasp. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger sees 21-year-old Davies as the long-term successor to Sol Campbell, who is on the verge of joining Portsmouth. But Albion gaffer Bryan Robson and chairman Jeremy Peace have so far played hard ball in terms of keeping the former Luton defender, who was signed for £3million in January's transfer window. The Baggies have already turned down a £6million bid for Davies from Tottenham, and are looking for nearer to £10million for him. But Wenger is being tipped to offer £8million up front plus the loan services of shock England World Cup squad member Walcott. The Gunners chief splashed out £5million up front to land the 17-year-old from Southampton in a deal which could eventually rise to £12million. But he is keen for him to get more first-team experience under his belt, and is prepared to let him move to The Hawthorns on a four-month loan deal, rather than a season-long stint. Albion chief Robson could well be interested in such a deal as he has recruited centre-back Chris Perry and also seen wideman Diomansy Kamara ruled out for three months with a broken foot. suprised by that
Romey 1878
Im not, it all works to Arsenals advantage doesnt it. They get a quality centre back and one of their biggest prospects gets match experience and can come back, hopefully, a better player

Romey 1878
I cant see it myself, they already have alot of striking options and they are supposedly set to get Saviola aswell, it would be perfect for them to loan Walcott out
Mac
Still f*cked off that the baby was taken to a major football tournament and was not given the time of day when we needed a striker. It still sticks in my gullet that we where made a laughing stock in front of the footballing world. ATB Mac
