Lowensda Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 We've been linked with this lad before, im sure. Squad filler then?
EckA2R Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 I lived in Montpellier for years and I'm still following the club because I know some players from the reserve. Stambouli would be a great addin' for Everton. Kind of players who give everything on the pitch, with a great spirit and never give up. Key player from the success in French League in 2012. He can play centre back but his best position is back midfield. He gets good technical abilities. He is, for sure the best player of MHSC with Remy Cabella. Plus, it's easy to negociate with Louis Nicollin (MHSC chairman) because he only wants to make benefits and Stambouli cost him nothing 'cause he was formed here.
Louis Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 http://www.lebuteur.com/flash/detail?titre=everton-garde-un-oeil-sur-stambouli&id=1697 Apparently Everton are "seriously" interested (as are Newcastle).
EFC-Paul Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Seems the type of versatile player we could use with European football on the horizon, I've never seen him play like so not sure if he's any good?
Matt Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 http://www.lebuteur.com/flash/detail?titre=everton-garde-un-oeil-sur-stambouli&id=1697 Apparently Everton are "seriously" interested (as are Newcastle). yeah, scouted him several times apparently. Havent followed the French league though, so no idea how good he is
Steve_E Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 yeah, scouted him several times apparently. Havent followed the French league though, so no idea how good he is I assume we scout hundreds of players several times though, right?
Matt Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 I assume we scout hundreds of players several times though, right? dunno, Im not a scout But yeah, we will scout quite a few several times, dont know if it will be hundreds. If we've scouted him several times there is clearly something worthwhile about him and maybe something to it. If we had scouted 2-3 times and this story came out, I'd dismiss it outright. Do we have any memebers on here who can vouch for the site as being accurate?

MikeO Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 Could be on his way to Tottenham. Yup, the midfielders' graveyard; good luck to him. He'll need it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28992064
johnh Posted August 30, 2014 Report Posted August 30, 2014 The problem with football today is that every transfer rumour involves a foreign player. In most cases, not only can't you spell the name, you can't even pronounce it. Just think, in the old days we only had to struggle with the pronunciation of 'Greenhalgh'!
Steve_E Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Tottenham Hotspur ✔ @SpursOfficial Follow SIGNED! We have completed the transfer of Benjamin Stambouli from Montpellier. #WelcomeBenji
