Steve_E Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Jags for the goal, but really the entire back four. Good to see a composed, gritty performance without individual fuckups from them.
Romey 1878 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Gave it to Jags for rescuing us because we never looked like scoring.
badaids Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 jags scored a blinder, but has to be stones. It was like watching Maldini or Baresi or Beckenbauer or something.
Guest millwallforever Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Add Browning to the list. This guy played like a veteran.
Toffee_in_LA Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I really want to give it to Jags for that goal and having a solid defensive game but Stones to me was so composed and got us out of trouble a handful of times so gave it to him.
Newty82 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Stones. Looked solid most of the game...nice touches, clinical interceptions, good runs. Should be in the first 11 more now. Doesn't need to prove himself anymore.
Guest millwallforever Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) I voted for Stones, but I was extremely impressed with Browning. What a cold-blooded lad. Love him already. Edited September 27, 2014 by millwallforever
gethinO Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) Stones! What a player. Jags back to himself as well and what a goal. That's our CBs now. No tinkering please Bobby. Besic I like as well! Up and at Utd next week. COYB! Edited September 27, 2014 by Geth Romey 1878 1
Howardshands Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Voted stones as well, then maybe Howard. It's sad that my third would have been browning
Paddock Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I was in work today so only seen the last 20 so I'll abstain from this one.
Quinn31 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Stones, though most of the back four was solid minus Hibbert.
Guest millwallforever Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) Hibbert was good. He looks like Putin. Lay off him! Stones, though most of the back four was solid minus Hibbert. Edited September 27, 2014 by millwallforever
MC11 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Add Browning to the list. This guy played like a veteran. He did well and was impressed but come on! Steve_E 1
Steve_E Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Hibbert looked just as good a backup to Seamus as Browning did imo.
MC11 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Stones, though most of the back four was solid minus Hibbert. Hibbert done well!
Hafnia Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Stones. Simple as that really. Lukaku and Barry need reserve games or something.
flaminfox Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Thought both Jags and Stones had really good games, really happy to see our defense look a bit more solid Thought Hibbert did a very good job considering his limitations, Martinez was very smart to take him off right when he was looking least solid.
Aidan Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Gave it to Jags because I got all excited but I now wish I'd have given it to Stones, he was a rock.
Mogsy Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Has to be jags, stones would have been my vote but for the goal. Thought they were both immense in defence. Jags look like the Jags of old today. No need for Hibbert to play again I think, and distin should just be on the bench.
Cornish Steve Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Stones. Simple as that really. Lukaku and Barry need reserve games or something. Haf - is it possible to post a message anywhere about anything without slamming Lukaku in some way? Pleeeezz...?
MikeO Posted September 27, 2014 Author Report Posted September 27, 2014 Gave it to Jags because I got all excited but I now wish I'd have given it to Stones, he was a rock. You want me to change it?
Guest millwallforever Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 MY Special tribute to Hibbert:
Aidan Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 You want me to change it? If you dont mind admin!
Shukes Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Thought Baines was very good throughout. But also went with Stones as he was assured and strong through the entire match.
MikeO Posted September 27, 2014 Author Report Posted September 27, 2014 If you dont mind admin! Done. It will still tell you that you voted Jags but I've altered the totals. Aidan 1
EFC-Paul Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Stones or Jags for me pleased with how well the lads at the back handled today very solid and pleased for Hibbert considering how little game time he's had and coming into such a big game like today I thought he was very solid and played well. Starting to get frustrated with Howard even more so now then I have in the past he seem's pretty inept of late and if it's not straight at him or just next to him he's piss poor for the most part, that freekick should never beat a keeper at this level. I know Lukaku seemed to play most of the game down the right but fuck me if ever I was going to side with Haf on his views of the lad it would be today everything from his first touch his positioning movement and passing was Heskey esque..... dross today! Can't really say much about Browning apart from he's a big lad who had little to do apart from brush Sterling off the ball so can't see where the high praise is coming from?
duncanmckenzieismagic Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Im pretty much going along with the general consensus , Jags and Stones were solid which was great to see But Ive gone for Jags because of the goal and the general character he has shown to bounce back when everyone was writing him off. I know its only one good performance but its a start and hopefully it will do his confidence the world of good MC11 1
