Steve_E Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Leighton Baines, despite the penalty miss. Besic does seem to have more expansive potential than McCarthy or Barry so I hope he continues to play.
Romey 1878 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Besic. Very impressed with him again. Would've given it to Baines if not for the penalty miss.
Guest millwallforever Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) Howard: 5 Hibbert: 7 Baines: 7 Stones: 7 Jagielka: 7 Barry: 7 BESIC: 8 (brave and composed; will only get better) Pienaar: 3 (atrocious) McGeady: 5 (improved slightly in the second half) Lukaku: 5 (played like a eunuch) Naismith: 7 (plenty of passion; if only Lukaku had a little of the same) Osman: 7 (made a point of his footballing intelligence; deserved a goal) Oviedo: 7 (good to have him back; made an impact) Browning: 6 Edited October 5, 2014 by millwallforever

And, you clearly have it out for Pienaar, who gave us some creative spark today and created the penalty. His one-touch passing was on point and he drew fouls all over the pitch.

Guest millwallforever Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Seriously man, I don't care what you feel. You can save yourself the drama by putting me on your ignore list. I feel like you're a WUM. And, you clearly have it out for Pienaar, who gave us some creative spark today and created the penalty. JoeQuince Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Pienaar was shite! Bah! I was hoping you'd be backing me up!
Romey 1878 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Pienaar was shite! I felt like throwing a party when he went off.
Matt Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Bah! I was hoping you'd be backing me up! sorry dude, he was (and has been for a while) shite. Far too lightweight, dives all the time, not quick enough for the wing Put him in the centre and he will flourish because his balance and body movement always finds space and he knows how to pick a pass

I don't think Pienaar was as bad as he's being made out though.
Newty82 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Oviedo. Nobody else stood out to me until he came on. He looked real good. Some very nice passes, skill, runs etc. I see Besic is running away with it. Suppose he did have a good one.
Guest millwallforever Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Oviedo brought stability to the team. I really like this guy. Oviedo. Nobody else stood out to me until he came on. He looked real good. Some very nice passes, skill, runs etc.I see Besic is running away with it. Suppose he did have a good one.
markjazzbassist Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Baines, defended well and saved a couple of train wrecks at the back, and put in the cross for the goal. he also slung in a couple more crosses that should have been goals. Besic second, he was great first half, but for me he just faded, and was absent for 35 minutes of the second half and then came back last 10 minutes or so.

Shukes Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Can't vote for this one. Can't really day anyone stood out, could have been three or four on the same score, Baines Besic Stones Osman
Bailey Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Barry for me. I think his impact was underrated. Stones second and then Baines/Besic in third. I also thought Pienaar did well in the circumstances. Clearly wasnt match fit but he gave all he could and if it wasnt for his run Hibbert wouldnt have won the penalty.
Gwlad Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Naismith, yes the goal but I feel he's heart and soul for EFC. Encouraged by Besic and great to see Bryan back and looking sharp.
