pete0 Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) Not Barry, Coleman or Baines. Lukaku and Eto'o tried, Mirallas was the only one with any edge to him though. Mo Besic for pulling a McCarthy, was everywhere Barry should've been. Edit: I've not given Howard much credit this season, but today he pulled his finger out and commanded the defence well, positionally spot on and he was unlucky not to stop the pen. markjazzbassist Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Besic. Didn't care if it was the former champs or sister marys U-8 women's team. he had a go, and i loved the tackle on toure. half his size and weight and brings the big oaf down without even blinking. toure was outraged and "injured", well done lad. Barkley runner up. had a go when he came on, moved the ball well and passed well. for all those "barkley ball hog" people well he's stop hogging the ball, but now we don't see those dangerous runs into the box anymore. grass is always greener... Newty82 Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) I've gone Baines. Didn't a lot wrong today. Plenty of energy going forward and in defence. Used his experience in defensive situations. Always an option up that left side and all over the place towards the end. Yes, corners are shite again but they all seem to be these days!!! Eto'o close 2nd. His movement is great. His use of the ball fantastic. This guy is immense. Edited December 6, 2014 by Newty82 Quote
Shukes Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Besic for his energy, aggressiveness and confidence in his own ability. Quote
