marcopaulo Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 Garbutt..defo..kone deserves a shout though Quote
Hafnia Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 Garbutt, great game. Kone, get a recording of your game, send it to the keyboard scouts and a copy to lukaku. Quote
Newty82 Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 Kone. Didn't put a foot wrong. A year out and ran from start to finish. Strong, athletic, great movement. Followed so closely by Garbett. Looks a great talent. Loads of energy running forward. His crosses are just what we need. Quote
MikeO Posted December 11, 2014 Author Report Posted December 11, 2014 Garbutt also; completely skinned once towards the end of the game but that aside was class. Quote
Cornish Steve Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 Kone, especially given the context. Hardly put a foot wrong, and was full of energy. The guy really wants to prove himself. Quote
Bailey Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 Kone first, Garbutt second and probably Dowell third. Quote
Romey 1878 Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) Garbutt, closely followed by Kone. Didn't think anyone else stood out. Edited December 11, 2014 by Romey 1878 Quote
MC11 Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 Garbutt for me. Just looking at player totals....damn you can see how poor Coleman and Barkley have been compared to last season. Quote
Lowensda Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 (edited) Thought Browning did well considering he's being played out of position AGAIN. Garbutt Browning Kone/Ledson Edited December 12, 2014 by tenaciousj Quote
MikeO Posted December 12, 2014 Author Report Posted December 12, 2014 Garbutt for me. Just looking at player totals....damn you can see how poor Coleman and Barkley have been compared to last season. Totals are really unusual this season, been doing this for a few years now and it's really strange to have no clear leaders; nine players within sight of the top with the likes of (as you say) Coleman and Barkley nowhere. Not sure what that says about us. Quote
markjazzbassist Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 Saw 3/4 of the match, thought Kone worked his ass off the whole match, dropping deep, hitting the wings, looking to link up and putting some shots on. That clever little move where he was inside the box with 2 men guarding him, he faked left, spun to the right and put a shot on the keeper saved. Nice move. Quote
marcopaulo Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 Thought Browning did well considering he's being played out of position AGAIN. Garbutt Browning Kone/Ledson Thought browning was poor myself...seemed timid towards goin forward..definitely didn't look comfortable..would love to see him tried as a cb Quote
Lowensda Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 (edited) Someone who's gone slightly under the radar thanks mainly to Kone's Komeback (marketing head) and the younger lads stepping up, who we need to talk about, is Robles.Personally, he's not good enough. He is seriously lacking in any confidence and I can understand (to an extent) why but he's a total drip. Not good enough for me. Some of his decisions to pass the ball out were on the cusp of suicide. He just doesn't 'think'. No confidence whats so ever.A new keeper, a top drawer keeper should be our priority. Get Cech in for 6 months (loan) in Jan and buy a top keeper in the summer. Edited December 12, 2014 by tenaciousj Quote
